  • Ask HN: Any previous experience with interviewing.io dedicated coaches?
Interviewing.io[1] lets users to practice mock interviews (coding interviews) with peers or professional interviewers. These interviews are anonymous. They also offer mentorship sessions with “dedicated coaches” from FAANG or other backgrounds. They claim 99% satisfaction rate and 82% of success (landing a job in the desired company). It sounds really vague and difficult to verify due to the anonymous aspect. Does... - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
  • Guidance for cracking coding interviews
There is also https://interviewing.io/, but that platform is a rip off. Either you need to pay an arm and a leg, or you need to trade two interviews that you do for others in exchange for a single interview that you receive. Pramp is much better in that respect. With Pramp, you interview the other job-hunter for 30 minutes and they interview you for 30 minutes. It's a much fairer exchange. Source: 5 months ago
  • Failing C++ Job Interviews
There are also some services I've used in the past like https://interviewing.io/ that give mock interviews with actual feedback from a human instead of the blank wall that is every company's recruiting team (I think they will give you a few mock interviews for free in exchange for the chance to refer you to a few tech companies.). • I'm Sorry I Bit You During My Job Interview
I'm not affiliated with them, but it seems like paying for a one time consultation/mock interview through https://interviewing.io/ might help uncover something useful. It does suck to have to pay to hear the "other side". Is this "Honesty as a Service"..? - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
  • Not sure how to get my career started
Here is the founder of interviewing.io making many of the same points: https://blog.alinelerner.com/how-different-is-a-b-s-in-computer-science-from-a-m-s-in-computer-science-when-it-comes-to-recruiting/. Source: 10 months ago
  • How do I overcome the fear of live coding?
If the problems aren't the issue I would recommend asking for a friend or using a website like pramp.com or interviewing.io to get some people to practice on. Source: 10 months ago
  • I’ll end up a deadbeat
The one I can remember off the top of my head is interviewing.io but there are some others out there too. Source: 10 months ago
  • Tech Job Market 2023
If so, first round interviews are typically cultural with non-technical recruiters. You may need to work on your soft skills (listed on sites like: https://www.pagepersonnel.com.au/advice/job-search/job-interview-tips/four-types-soft-skills-demonstrate-job-interview). You may also want to look into mock interviewing (sites like: https://www.techmockinterview.com/ or https://interviewing.io/ or look for subreddits... Source: 11 months ago
  • Next Interview Prep Steps After 142 LeetCode Problems?
Try out Pramp and interviewing.io (may not be free these days) -- but yeah mock interviews. Source: 11 months ago
  • How to practice systems design interview?
I want to be able to practice systems design question but not sure how. I know https://interviewing.io/ is an option but it is so pricey! Are their any other alternatives? Is there some way I can connect with people to practice with for free or cheaper? Source: 11 months ago
  • Experienced Lead Front-End Engineer Struggling to Secure Initial Interviews
Interviewing.io has some sort of data out there for this. Source: about 1 year ago

  • My husband just lost his job as a programmer and we're here on a highly skilled migrant visa. Can you help?
Not too sure if this will help if it's related to ADHD but if it's nerves, practicing with mock interviewers could help him. He could try something like https://interviewing.io/. Source: about 1 year ago

Can you do interviewing.io or some such to get feedback. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Advice For Job Search?
I see. I wasn't aware on-site pass rates were already that low. That definitely makes me feel a lot better. And thanks for the reminder on interviewing.io! I had completely forgotten about that site. I'll definitely start using it keep sharp on interviewing. I've filed for unemployment as well. As well as the 6 month reinterviewing. Definitely hoping to give it another go at some of them now that I'm much more... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Advice For Job Search?
Try to get some mock interviews in, with sites like interviewing.io or exponent (or pramp for a cheaper option). Some of these sites are also potential ways to get connections. Source: about 1 year ago
  • [US] Is it me or is getting a remote job incredibly difficult?
My suggestion is to get an interview coach. I used interviewing.io and got a remote position at a FAANG company. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Problem with Leetcode and a potential fix?
If it had been me, I would have sold the site to someone else, just like the people who started Pramp.com sold it to Exponent after getting nice jobs at Big Tech companies. Of course, Exponent could have destroyed Pramp's reputation by trying to monetize it too quickly (just like interviewing.io did with their site), but thus far, as far I can tell, Pramp (the free peer-to-peer interviewing part at least) still... • Any people working in tech?
Unfortunately from personal experience, certain demographics will see it as creepy, however over time you will get used to interviews and wont stutter as much. In my first interview I stuttered on every sentence. I recommend https://interviewing.io/ to get used to tech interviews. Source: about 1 year ago

I tried interviewing.io but that is geared toward FAANG. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Seeking advice
Then when you're comfortable (or slightly more confident) about leetcode style questions, you can schedule 1-2 mock interviews on platforms like interviewing.io. Make sure you choose the "PEER" mock interviews because the other ones are pretty expensive and the peer one is free and you can practice alongside other people. If you have good friends, then ask them to mock interview you. Source: over 1 year ago

The Best Code Interview Prep Platforms in 2020
Interviewing.io takes a very unique approach to coding interview prep. Rather than providing content and practice coding challenges, Interviewing.io has a library of actual video interviews that you can watch, and you can pay to anonymously take a mock interview with an engineering hiring manager.
