  • Broken Samsung charger
Note that I could not find much documentation on references written on these components and that I am pretty new to electronics but it's something I'm interested in and I love to experiment (I have already went through hackster.io and instructables.com tutorials). Source: over 2 years ago
  • A compilation of bragging about how much money Beggy claims she has taken (read: scammed) her followers for. All of these have been posted in the past 3 DAYS. Her smug desperation is positively RANCID. Poor little Audrey-Prop is just dangling there.
This person would have better luck participating in contests run by Instructables. Write a tutorial, submit it to one of the contests that are run every 6 weeks(themes and subjects vary from cooking, computer themed, design) for a chance to win an Amazon gift card worth $100-500 depending on the contest. • Over 11 hrs since she posted this and not a single ๐Ÿ”ฅ in the comments - I really do love that for her. She's now offering to help you figure out what you are passionate about/want to sell courses on ๐Ÿ™„
Want to know how to make a tutorial? Go to Instructables. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Help me validate my idea for StrideDoc - an all-in-one solution for creating interactive demos, step-by-step tutorials, and product documentation!
From your comment, I would say that we will work in a completely different niche than the one instructables.com tried to work. Source: over 2 years ago
  • looking for good free plans to build a shed/barn
Instructables.com is a good place to start. Source: over 2 years ago
  • How do I create a system so that if a calculator leaves my classroom, an alarm goes off?
Doorway scanners are the low tech solution unfortunately. Unless the calculator is pressed right up to it like a cheap bar code reader you need something that will catch a tag signal. I ain't finding cheap RFID detectors that broadcast wide range, but you may find something on instructables.com . Either way, a solution like you are asking will cost some combination of time and money, cheaper == more time cost and... Source: over 2 years ago
  • confused by all the clear/white acrylic posts
So red/yellow/green coloured acrylic should be fine, black is fine etc? What about double-sided acrylics like the ones from instructables.com. They have a thin red layer above a white layer. I should be able to etch the red away and get white on a red background, correct? (https://www.inventables.com/technologies/red-on-bright-white-laserable-acrylic-sheet). Source: over 2 years ago
  • Niece asked me for shelving/basketing that could be stowed away easily off season. I would up making 22 of these these things for her and her friends.
Have you considered posting the "how to" on instructables.com? I would love a couple of these! Source: over 2 years ago
  • What to do during down time
I say this because learning Python and R are cool, but learning them in a traditional academic framework might not be as fulfilling or as productive as looking up some of the wild projects on hackaday.com, hackster.io, and instructables.com. If you start looking at these, they can really broaden your lens of what is possible, while at the same time offering projects that are more fun than rote coding exercises. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • using existing boots to make a last
If you're just looking to make it as a project to occupy your time, go forth and experiment. There are multiple instructables.com that cover the process. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • I made a lamp that mimics sunlight using GPS data
Post your build on instructables.com! (Not affiliated, just a good place to show cool stuff). Source: almost 3 years ago
  • I turned an old TV into a digital DnD board. I started making my own maps in Blender.
Hey, I found this on instructables.com about making a gaming table with a button to end turns. If your screen is big enough it would fit in this table. Or, you can shrink the table to fit the screen. The link is: https://www.instructables.com/Board-Game-Table-With-End-Turn-Buttons/. Source: about 3 years ago

I wonder what einstein would think of instructables.com. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Philco Solid State Console - canโ€™t find the exact model number. Need in-home audio repair in Atlanta. Just a couple of finicky wire connections.
Lots of people take out the old TT & put a new one in there. You can find a lot about it on a website called instructables.com or youtube, You can even go to the vinylengine.com website they may have a manual that the free download. As for the Chassis # most likely under the platter of the TT or some where on the TT. You may have to take it all out. Good Luck keep us posted.. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Learning to start a class.
With Arduino the sky is the limit, and you can teach much more. However, it is usually used to do cool electrical engineering stuff, and if you want to get the wow factor it really just depends on the final task. I would say there are thousands of cool DIY projects that you can turn into a cool course (look at instructables.com). Source: about 3 years ago
  • Anti's list of tips and tricks to stay cool in your vehicle.
Unfortunately I do not. I started book / blog and was quickly reminded that many things that can be done, and that I've done / written, are against modern laws / codes / safety, and even technically piracy. LowTechmagazine.com , Ecomodder.com , familyhandyman.com , instructables.com are all good, but the real cool stuff are pretty hidden away in older books / techniques that have been lost to time in decaying... As long as the evil doers have control of the internet, it will be pused towards those agendas. therwise though, it might be helpful to become versed in how to do/make/repair various things of a higher than "survivalist" level... Learning to make electrical generators, steam engines, and basic electronic equipment etc. And apss that info around. It's not terribly advanced, but http://instructables.com can have... • Free 3D boardgame - Download, Print, Build and Play! Cardboard and Card.
Hi everyone - me and a friend of mine made a boardgame in lockdown and wanted to share here. We both have kids and stacks of cardboard so it just made sense. We just put it up on instructables.com for free download. There's also the option to use a 3D printer for the game pieces if you have one. Super fun to build with your kids and there are a few ways to customize the gameplay. Hope you can take a look and let... Source: over 3 years ago
