But any service you choose should be around somewhat longterm right? It will probably require some money and a bit of luck for the service or app of choice to stay around for a while. I would suggest looking into a smart light bulb and triggering it with IFTTT. You could easily set up various ways to trigger the light, like when she texts you a certain string, or to get exactly what you want, she would just need to download the IFTTT app herself and create the workflow, then it should be possible in IFTTT to trigger a workflow from a shortcut on your homescreen.
