  • New to steam deck. Where do yโ€™all look for game price updates?
I get a ton of games from humblebundle.com's monthly game subscription. Every month I get like 10 steam games, and there's usually like 1 AAA and like 9 decent indie titles for like 8 bucks a month or so. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Any last must get games because they never been this low before?
I would also sign up for the emails from Fanatical.com, HumbleBundle.com ... Both offer legit keys - often in bundles - that can net you a ton of games for fire sale prices. Sometimes, even something on your wishlist. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Steam Deck Rookie Question
If, instead you're interested in bulking out your steam library, fanatical.com, humblebundle.com, and especially isthereanydeal.com will be excellent resources to help you out. And the nice thing is that with these you actually own your games instead of just renting them. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Where a good place to purchase eBooks that I can store locally?
Humblebundle.com can be okay depending on what you're after. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • I don't wanna give money to the trevor project
Probably need to tell Humble that, not us. As far as I know this is not an official Humble help page; oh look! "The unofficial subreddit about the game, book, app, and software bundle site humblebundle.com". Click that link to get to where you can your express your opinion in a more effective manner. • Just finished building my pc today, finally a member. Any game recommendations would be appreciated!
Humblebundle.com is a GREAT place to keep an eye on. They have a choice membership where you get something like 8 games for 11 bucks a month. And one or two of them are triple A's a lot of the time. That will kick start your library. Source: about 3 years ago

I'm cheap, so my game recommendation: Whatever is on deep sale or free (Epic), keep eyes on humblebundle.com for additional deals. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Modpack Skyrim Overhaul
Depends on what you like for quests, armor, weapons, etc. You'll need Special Edition for Wabbajack and I recommend the Anniversary Upgrade which is on sale on humblebundle.com right now because it'll let you have access to every list, not just SE ones. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Best Websites?

Fact #2: There are more learning and training resources available for IT that are either extremely cheap or even free then ever before. You can take actual college classes on Coursera for free. There are all kinds of courses for free on YT. One of the best AWS cloud classes available is just $40. You can get a shelf full of Linux or Security books from humblebundle.com for $18. You don't buy steam games full price on steam. Either wait for a good sale and check on steamdb.info if its a historical low or you buy keys from third party websites. The best option is to check out humblebundle.com or fanatical.com and shop for bundles to fill up that empty library. Source: about 3 years ago

  • What is the easiest(and cheapest) way to get through the HH series if you have no sci-fi bookstore in your town?
The absolute cheapest way is to wait for a Humble Bundle to come up (https://humblebundle.com). Black Library bundles come up about twice a year. The value is insanely good, and they're also all DRM-free files. The link will usually be posted here when a bundle comes up, but it's probably pretty easy to miss, so you might want to subscribe to Humble's email list, or set up a Google Alert or something. • Humble Bundle Winter Sale is LIVE! Fx3 on sale
Humblebundle.com search the sight for fx3. Hope this helps. Source: over 3 years ago
  • How do you keep momentum of the session going after a failed ability check?
What I would recommend is that you get the Beginner Box, and then watch Humble Bundle for the next PF2 bundle. Paizo likes to do bundles about twice a year or so, which is a good way to grab a handful of books and an AP for cheap. Source: over 3 years ago
  • With all the stuff with the OGL happening I was thinking about making the switch

  • what video/picture editor is good
One of my favorite sources for software and games is a site called humblebundle.com which works deals out with software companies and donates to charity. They have a content creator bundle now with several video and audio editing packages. I haven't looked at them in depth but you get over $800 in software for $25. Source: over 3 years ago

Summary of the public mentions of Humble Bundle

Humble Bundle, an innovative platform recognized for its unique pay-what-you-want model, continues to capture public interest, especially within the gaming community. Initially established to offer curated collections of games at user-determined prices, Humble Bundle has expanded to encompass eBooks, software, and other digital content, maintaining a commitment to charitable contributions.

Public perception of Humble Bundle largely hinges on its flexible pricing strategy and philanthropic approach. Users appreciate the ability to acquire numerous games at a fraction of the typical retail cost, often highlighting the inclusion of AAA titles alongside indie games in its offerings. Subscribers to Humble Bundleโ€™s monthly game subscription service commend the selection's value, which often includes a mix of top-tier and indie titles for a modest monthly fee, thus enabling users to broaden their gaming libraries cost-effectively.

Humble Bundleโ€™s philanthropic model is a significant draw for many users. A portion of proceeds from every purchase can be allocated to different charities, a feature that resonates deeply with ethically-minded consumers. This aspect distinguishes Humble Bundle from competitors like GOG.com and itch.io, emphasizing a consumer-friendly ethos that prioritizes both affordability and social impact.

In terms of product diversity, Humble Bundle extends beyond gaming into the realms of eBooks and software, offering DRM-free content that can be stored locally. This appeal to digital ownership plays a crucial role in fostering trust among consumers who increasingly value securing permanent access to their purchases.

However, Humble Bundle faces competition in the digital distribution space, contending with numerous platforms such as Fanatical.com and Green Man Gaming. These competitors often replicate the bundle offerings and discount models, which could dilute Humble Bundleโ€™s market distinction. Nonetheless, Humble Bundleโ€™s long-standing commitment to charity and its historical ties to the gaming community continue to endear it to a dedicated user base.

Critics occasionally point to promotional complexity as a minor drawback, given the tier-based system that necessitates careful attention to cost-value analysis. Furthermore, some users express difficulties in navigating specific charity allocations, suggesting room for improvement in user interface design and charitable process transparency.

Overall, public opinion on Humble Bundle remains largely positive, bolstered by its affordability, value-driven offerings, and distinct charitable contribution model. This sentiment is reinforced by frequent mentions in online forums and social media platforms where users share discount tips and bundle experiences, often recommending Humble Bundle as a go-to for cost-effective game and software acquisitions. As the digital content landscape evolves, Humble Bundleโ€™s unique selling proposition lies in its fusion of consumer economics and charitable giving, a model that resonates well within contemporary digital consumer culture.
