I just don't know what else I can do. I compared Chromium and Firefox in html5test.com, got same result. All browsers says they doesn't support H.265. I turned off HW acceleration, nothing changes. I installed ffmpeg-libs and other codecs from Fedora wiki. Nothing changes. Videos are same vp9 in browsers. I spent all day googling but nothing helpful. Source: 9 months ago

Having a problem with playing 4k and (or) HDR content on Netflix for a weeks, Basically all that use HEVC codec. They simply stopped loading and see error screen. My test for this was very simple: open https://html5test.com/ and compare to the latest stable Safari release. The Webkit clients I could get working on my machine all lacked features Safari reportedly support, leading to a lower score than Safari. I don't know what's missing exactly, but there's clearly a distinction between the two, even if the core functionality is the same. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
