Search on the main page (https://homebridge.io/) for plugins that work with the devices you can't add directly to homekit. If you find what you need then you're probably good to go ahead with it, though not all the plugins are completely reliable. Sometimes there's more than one for a given device though. In the past I’ve played around with using Scrypted or Camera.UI to bring non-HomeKit IP cameras into HomeKit. I think HomeAssistant and HomeBridge both have basic modules which would do this too (ffmpeg at bare minimum). A docker image running on a RaspberryPi or Synology is probably good enough. Sure! First you need to have HomeKit setup, not sure how complicated it is, or what is needed. I use it with an Apple TV for remote control. Then you install HomeBridge: https://homebridge.io I have it setup through docker. Then you connect homebridge to HomeKit. And lastly you install plugins to Homebridge, I use “homebridge-wol” to wake and turn of my pc. In HomeKit it is shown as a switch (see picture). Source: about 1 year ago
