  • Sentry
Highlight.io combines error tracking, session replays, log management, and tracing in a single platform. The self-hosted version runs via Docker Compose with Clickhouse for storage. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
  • Monitoring Browser Applications with OpenTelemetry
Whether you're dealing with client-side performance issues, server-side bottlenecks, or complex user journeys spanning multiple services, OpenTelemetry and Highlight provide the visibility you need to deliver exceptional web applications. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
  • Show HN: I made tool that let's you see everything about any website
Iโ€™m a bit confused on the โ€œThreatsโ€ section, entering my member management startup https://embolt.app shows malware detected with a timestamp dating back to 2018 (we launched this year). I checked out another startup I know of (https://highlight.io) and it listed the same results. Maybe Iโ€™m misinterpreting what this section means? - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
  • OpenTelemetry in 2023
We're big users of clickhouse at https://highlight.io. Some more details here if you're interested:. - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
  • OpenTelemetry in 2023
Fwiw, we do the same (https://highlight.io). Heard good things about uptrace as well. - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
  • What are some really good open-source next js projects in productions that you can study from?
We were using highlight.io and don't recommend it. The support is very rude and many features are buggy. We switched to PostHog instead. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Remote debugging with session replay?
Hi there, I'm an engineer at highlight.io . Definitely let us know if there are any things we can help with on the product end! Regarding stored variables, it may be hard for a product to do this in a production environment because of the limitations of the language. I believe the options that were posted below (Openreplay, Posthog, etc..) also don't have that functionality. Source: about 3 years ago
  • [Advice needed] How are you guys staying on top of your frontend error reporting?
We're currently piggy back on our backend team's sentry subscription. Any highlights for why highlight.io over sentry? Source: about 3 years ago
  • [Advice needed] How are you guys staying on top of your frontend error reporting?
You should check out my startup's product: https://highlight.io. We do Session replay, error monitoring and logging. And we connect replays to errors and logs across your stack. We are also a YC company, and we have a few customers using both Posthog and Highlight.io side by side. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Insufficient logging
Check out https://highlight.io; we have the simplicity of of sentry with an easy way to self host!! Source: about 3 years ago
  • I want to contribute to open-source software written in Go
Check us out at https://highlight.io. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Exploring Datadog alternative
Checkout https://highlight.io; billing is super straightforward, we support billing โ€œlimitsโ€ so you donโ€™t have any surprise charges, the product is completely open source so you can eject at any time. Source: about 3 years ago
  • DataDog: Where does it hurt.
What really sucks is that Datadog is great product... Don't want to be too salesly here, but we're working on a Datadog competitor at highlight.io. The product is self-serve, we let you set limits on pricing, and we have a tracing product coming up soon! Source: about 3 years ago
  • Any light weight alternatives to Sentry for crash logging and session replay that work for svelte?
You should check out highlight.io. Its much simpler and opinionated. If you need tracing, we don't have it, but it has session replay, error monitoring and logging out of the box. Source: over 3 years ago
