  In general, the cell bands used in the US are not supported by many Xiaomi and Redmi phones (not sure if any of them have good coverage of US bands). Check on gsmarena.com for the band coverage and then check your carrier's website for what bands they have service on.   I go to gsmarena.com to get technical specs but I'll also go to the manufacturers sites as well. However, not all manufacturer sites show the frequency bands in their specs. I assume you mean the 6300 4G? There's a model that is compatible with our 4G frequency bands. Source: over 2 years ago

  Is it international version or US version. The US frequency bands are a little different from ones used elsewhere, which is where you might have the most problems (you may be stuck on just one or two bands out of a carriers 4 or 6, and if you don't have good coverageon the bands you have, then your phone has a lot of dead spots).
