We have collected here some useful links to help you find out if GPTZero is good.
Check the traffic stats of GPTZero on SimilarWeb. The key metrics to look for are: monthly visits, average visit duration, pages per visit, and traffic by country. Moreoever, check the traffic sources. For example "Direct" traffic is a good sign.
Check the "Domain Rating" of GPTZero on Ahrefs. The domain rating is a measure of the strength of a website's backlink profile on a scale from 0 to 100. It shows the strength of GPTZero's backlink profile compared to the other websites. In most cases a domain rating of 60+ is considered good and 70+ is considered very good.
Check the "Domain Authority" of GPTZero on MOZ. A website's domain authority (DA) is a search engine ranking score that predicts how well a website will rank on search engine result pages (SERPs). It is based on a 100-point logarithmic scale, with higher scores corresponding to a greater likelihood of ranking. This is another useful metric to check if a website is good.
The latest comments about GPTZero on Reddit. This can help you find out how popualr the product is and what people think about it.
For the benefit of external observers, you can stick the comment into either https://gptzero.me/ or https://copyleaks.com/ai-content-detector - neither are perfectly reliable, but the comment stuck out to me as obviously LLM-generated (I see a lot of LLM-generated content in my day job), and false positives from these services are actually kinda rare (false negatives much more common). But if you want to get a... - Source: Hacker News / 7 days ago
This comment was very likely AI generated according to https://gptzero.me. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
Recently, I've seen lots of posts about VS Code extensions. But did you know that many of the posts are outdated? How, you might ask? They were only shared yesterday! Well, let me explain. Many posts in the listicle format are AI-generate. ChatGPT's training makes it tend to write about a few general topics when you ask it โwrite an article for my coding blogโ. If you want an easy way to tell if something is... - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago

AI detectors are sophisticated algorithms developed to differentiate between human-composed and AI-crafted content. These detectors utilize machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) methodologies to assess linguistic patterns, authorship styles, and other text features, spotting incongruences that imply artificial authorship. As AI-generated content becomes more commonplace, the demand for powerful AI... Source: almost 2 years ago
I put a couple of my essays into an ai checker (gptzero.me and contentatscale.ai) and they both flagged my essays as being ai generated and highlighted almost every sentence. Neither of these essays were written using ai. Source: almost 2 years ago
For what it's worth, I ran the text through GPTZero, which is pretty accurate at detecting AI generated text. It predicted most of the text as likely written by a human, but it flagged some paragraphs as likely written by AI, and some as moderately likely written by AI. Source: about 2 years ago
I replicate your result here. The text is too short for OpenAI Text Classifier, but this tool predicts overwhelmingly that it is AI generated. I'm not sure what the state of the art for detecting AI generated text is. Source: over 2 years ago
My wife is a teacher and has a tool to check if it was written by AI. If you haven't been caught yet...you will be...tools are out there. Check out https://gptzero.me/. Source: over 2 years ago
GPTZero is decent, but returns false positives more than false negatives. Source: over 2 years ago
BTW why did you assume zerogpt.com and gptzero.me marking it as AI content is trustworthy but sapling.ai, writer.com, contentatscale.ai or copyleaks.com marking it as written by human aren't? Source: over 2 years ago
You use gptzero.me, for class assignments its a must to make sure it isn't detected by AI. Source: over 2 years ago
Idk wtf kind of detectors they used, but one google search finds me a way better one, I believe https://gptzero.me/. Source: over 2 years ago
Not sure why everyone is using the complete wrong website. The correct one is https://gptzero.me and itโs probably the best (free) one available to test if youโre work will be detected. Source: over 2 years ago
If it ever came to that point, I would want reddit to implement a filter for content that is likely AI generated, like GPTZero. Source: over 2 years ago
Otherwise, my understanding is the detection and analysis methods for text and/or images is still lacking, but are helpful in some cases. There's a huge push for tools and services which can do this more and more effectively as AI itself evolves. GPTZero and OpenAI's own AI Classifier are just a couple examples. How does it compare with https://gptzero.me, https://zerogpt.com, https://zerogpt.cc? I find a lot of Ai content detector tools. Source: over 2 years ago
One thing to note, though-- for anything important that you don't want people to know is AI-generated, sites like gptzero and more likely (the best so far) originality will reveal it's not your own writing. Source: over 2 years ago
