The Local Font Access API changed that. fromT was built as an indie project to make picking a font from your own collection as fast as typing the text once — and to keep the whole process private, since fonts never leave the machine.
Next.js (React, TypeScript), the Local Font Access API, client-side PDF and SVG generation, and a companion Figma plugin. Everything runs in the browser — there is no backend processing of your fonts.
