Along with Leech and Downie, Folx is another option. I use Downie for video sites, Folx for any other heavy lifting but Leech has been my favorite for ages, I wish they would integrate it with Chromium browsers. Source: almost 4 years ago
When you visit the downloads page (https://mac.eltima.com/download-manager.html), and click the download button, it automatically downloads this DMG → https://cdn.eltima.com/download/downloader_mac.dmg, which contains “Folx.app” and a symbolic link to your computer’s Applications folder (for an easy drag-n-drop installation).
