Four ways to fill a list. Take a ready-made one for travel, work or everyday talk; type your own; paste any text you are reading and pull the vocabulary out of it; or point Fluera at a video or a song. Rows are ranked by what is worth learning first for your own level, not by raw frequency, and words you already know are skipped.

One vocabulary behind everything. Course lessons, list study, review and mistake practice all move the same word state, so a word learned from a song import is not asked again in a lesson, and a word failed in a lesson turns up in the review queue. Four statuses — new, learning, needs review, learned — and you can set any of them by hand.

Words finish. Two correct answers on two different days and a word leaves the queue permanently. There are no maintenance reviews and no queue that only grows.

Words in context, not bare cards. Every word carries usage examples, inflected forms, pronunciation and real audio, and the same sentences become fill-in-the-blank, sentence building, listening and typing exercises. Tap a word inside a sentence and you get the sense it carries there, not the most common translation.
