I can transform this into a floor plan and 3D model house using floorplanner.com. For the real estate industry. How can I find the real clients of it? And what are the prospects in the imminent future? Source: almost 3 years ago

If you enjoy writing fanfics with (detailed) descriptions of houses/ apartments ect. Or simply want an aid to picture the place you roughly made up in your mind, I can recommend floorplanner.com. You can create free layouts there and suffer as you try to figure out how your mind could imagine a room to look a certain way in a certain location of the building xD. Source: about 3 years ago

I used https://floorplanner.com/, and paid a little bit to upgrade the project so I had all the features (if you do a lot of different floor plans, a subscription is sensible, if it's just the one, a lot cheaper to pay outright). Source: about 3 years ago
It's in the title: https://floorplanner.com/ I found it very easy to use. I measured out my basement, put in that into floor planner. Made walls. Each square is 1 sq foot. Made it very easy to take plans and map out on floor where things were going to go. Source: about 3 years ago
It was done by an architect, we played around with floorplanner.com for a time to theorize different things before going in but obviously that doesn't help as much in modeling. Source: about 3 years ago
Then I would go to a site like https://floorplanner.com/, and put in the perimeter walls and immovables....save this as 'baseline'. From there, I'd save-as multiple times to clone that baseline and use each clone try to a few different combinations/variations on floor plan. Make sure you place some furniture in the plan. Also, I've never used sweet home 3d, but have used floorplanner and often times the object you insert is not the right size, so research the standard size of a toilet, bathroom sink, sofa, etc and manually adjust them when you place. I even measured my existing furniture and replicated it as best as I could. Source: over 3 years ago
It's basic, but I've found the 3D renders are floorplanner.com to be good enough for my own visualization. Source: over 3 years ago

Cool stuff! Will give it a try next time I need something like this. I found https://floorplanner.com/ to be quite useful as well. The renders are good enough for me to feel like I am looking at the space rather than a sketch. - Source: Hacker News / over 3 years ago
Floorplanner, a widely known tool within the domains of architecture, 3D modeling, and interior design software, is highly regarded for its ease of access and functionality. As a web-based solution, it appeals to users seeking to create floor plans without needing extensive downloads or installations, setting it apart in a competitive landscape that includes notable competitors such as MagicPlan, Sweet Home 3D, and SketchUp, among others.
The primary advantage of Floorplanner lies in its user-friendly interface, which enables users to craft accurate 2D blueprints quickly. The platform boasts an extensive catalog of over 150,000 items, allowing for significant customization and flexibility in design. Users can effortlessly transition between 2D and 3D views, enhancing their ability to visualize spaces in real-timeโa crucial feature for both novice designers and seasoned professionals.
Several users across different posts commend Floorplanner for its simplicity and intuitive nature. It is described as "easy to use" and particularly suitable for those who wish to experiment with interior designs or visualize spatial arrangements in their homes. Moreover, its availability as an online tool makes it accessible for individuals who prefer web-based applications over traditional desktop software.
The public opinion indicates that Floorplanner is beneficial for a variety of use cases, ranging from personal home design projects to assisting real estate professionals in creating detailed property layouts. Users frequently mention the platform's utility in designing personal spaces such as bathrooms, basements, and living rooms, where quick and precise planning is crucial.
Posts also reveal that the tool is frequently used as a starting point for more complex architectural projects, providing a cost-effective way to theorize layouts and make initial plans before moving to more advanced modeling software. Its economic subscription model is praised for offering flexibilityโproviding sufficient functionality for one-time projects and scalability for multiple projects when needed.
While Floorplanner is generally well-received, some users note potential areas for improvement. For instance, objects often require manual resizing to accurately represent real-life dimensions, a task that some users find cumbersome. Additionally, while its 3D rendering capabilities are described as adequate for visualization purposes, the renders may not meet the extensive graphical fidelity needed for professional-grade presentations.
Overall, Floorplanner garners positive reception as a reliable and straightforward tool that accommodates a wide audience, from DIY enthusiasts to professional designers. Its online accessibility, combined with a rich features set, makes it an attractive option for many who need rapid prototyping of interior layouts. However, users looking for high-end rendering or precise scaling without adjustments may need supplementary tools. As the digital design landscape continues to evolve, Floorplanner maintains a promising position with its commitment to being user-friendly and adaptable.
