I would start with adding a background image and better music. Neither is something you need to do yourself. There are some really cool public domain astronomy images from NASA you can use, and there is free-if-you-give-credit music on websites like filmmusic.io. Source: over 2 years ago
I have never used that website. But filmmusic.io, which seems to provide a similar service, has a warning for tracks that will trigger ContentID on YouTube. At least they had that the last time I used it. They recently redesigned it and now it looks completely different. Source: over 2 years ago
MacLeod moved all his work to filmmusic.io which has music from several other artists under the same lax license conditions. Source: over 2 years ago

All of that having been said, I use a mix of stuff. I pay for an Envato account when I want something good, or I'll use filmmusic.io or youtube's audio library if I'm producing something specific for a channel there. Source: over 2 years ago

Those are the safest options, yes. There are some other great websites that have Creative Commons music as well, like https://filmmusic.io/. The important thing is that they have clearly published licensing information. I wouldn't trust any YouTube or SoundCloud channels that say their music is "Copyright Free" because, as I explained, that's not a real thing. Source: almost 3 years ago

I have music that I've made available on filmmusic.io. All music on there is free (over 5000 tracks), as long as the person using it attributes it using the following template (with details of the individual song changed, of course) in the description of the video/podcast/etc;. The game was made by 2 people. One sawed graphics in Blender, the second assembled on Unity. Music was taken at https://filmmusic.io/ there is a free use option in games, you just need to indicate the author and the link, this is generally not a problem if you select a small panel in the menu for this. And it's completely unnecessary to invest that much time and energy. Because there are so many desperate music composers around that some of them give away their time for ridiculously low rates. And if you don't want to pay any money at all, then you can just take some clips from filmmusic.io. It worked for Kerbal Space Program. Source: over 3 years ago
I use a lot of music from Kevin MacLeod at https://filmmusic.io/. Source: over 3 years ago
