Social recommendations and mentions

We have tracked the following product recommendations or mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you see what people think about File Approved and what they use it for.
  • Efficient workflows for getting feedback by company clients?
For internal review, we use Frame.io, but for external review, feedback, and approval, we use https://fileapproved.com. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Software for sending files/media to clients for revisions/approvals?
I don't know of any self-hosted solutions, but http://fileapproved.com is only $4 a month, so that's about as inexpensive as it gets probably. Source: about 1 year ago
  • How do you get feedback while you're still editing your videos?
We use Frame.io for internal review (for people in our organization) and we use fileapproved.com for external review, since reviewers don't need to put in an email or anything that you don't specify. Source: about 1 year ago
  • What are the tools you can't live without?
Fileapproved.com - Sending anyone files to approve or leave feedback on, and being able to specify what info you need from them to be able to approve (not needing their email if you don't want/need it). And it's only $4 a month. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Client Delivery Workflow
We use Frame.io to send files internally for review and feedback and use fileapproved.com to send files to clients or people who need to review and leave feedback externally. Source: about 1 year ago
  • What Frame.io setup do you use?
If you're wanting something with a lower price tag, we use Frame.io for internal QC and review, but we use https://fileapproved.com for client-facing review, since it is only $4 a month. It def has the first functionality, and it looks like they are working on "adding attachments to feedback comments" based on what their public roadmap says, so might be coming soon. Hope this helps! • What do you use for client document sharing?
Https://fileapproved.com might work for you. You can setup what credentials you want from them, so they don't need an account to view the files or approve them. You can even disable one of the credential fields, so they only have to put in one thing (like the last 4 or a passcode). Then, once they click "approve" you get an approval receipt pdf as proof that it was viewed by them and approved. We have tried a lot... Source: over 1 year ago
  • What do you use to deliver final files to clients?
We use https://fileapproved.com/ since its cheap and the clients don't need to sign up for an account or anything. Plus, you can choose what info you need from them if you don't need their email, and you get a PDF "approval receipt" so you have proof that they approved the file. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Explaining revision limits to clients
We tell clients that in order to better serve our clients to get their revisions back sooner, we only offer 1 free round of revisions, per project. So, if they send a revision request once we deliver, to be sure to be as detailed and thorough as possible in the revision request. After we re-deliver, per their requested revisions, if they require more revisions, we charge an additional fee per additional rounds of... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Client File Sharing and keeping track of progress
In this case, for now at least, the easiest way would probably just to set this all up in Google Drive with folders and docs and make sure notifications are turned on for any changes. There are also some Google Doc extensions for "submitting" changes for approval. Not sure if it would work for you or not, but we use fileapproved.com for getting feedback on files from clients. The files aren't interactive, like... Source: over 1 year ago
  • What is the Best Software for Work Collaboration for a Very Small Team
We use Frame.io to send files internally for review and feedback and use fileapproved.com to send files to clients or people who need to review and leave feedback externally. We use both of these instead of just Google Docs so we can see an audit trail of feedback and also so we can see exactly what their feedback is on. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Best way to upload a LOT of files?
If we need to send files to reviewers to quickly get them approved or quickly get feedback, we use https://fileapproved.com since it lets the reviewer approve files quickly. Their only plan does have unlimited upload space, but you are limited to 40mb per file and only one file at a time, so it is more meant for previewing files than delivering high-quality files.
