  • Writing advice pleaseeee
Well, if you don't write fanfiction there's always fictionpress. I don't know, however, how active it is these days. Source: 10 months ago
  • Wondering if anybody reads original works on Ao3
Once in a while, yeah. Used to do a lot more on fictionpress.com but yeahh. Source: about 1 year ago
  • I Give, I Take
This is a short story I wrote a few months back that I have decided to post around in hopes of receiving criticism, constructive or not. I have included a link to the version published on fictionpress.com and I would really appreciate it if whoever decides to take the time to read this would review it over there. Thank you. • Why is no-one giving feedback for my story? Did I do something wrong?
I find it hard to get feedback on any story site. I've posted stuff on a few stores like fanfiction.net, fictionpress.com and Wattpad.com but people might read it but not comment on it. It's just how it is with free story sites, so much content that yours gets lost in the mix. Your story would have to be really spicy to get followers who want to see your next chapter and they will comment to help motivate you to... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Romantic Novel suggestions.
If you want to read obscure books (but questionable grammar) and don't wanna spend money, check out fictionpress.com , it's self published stories by budding writers and can be quite interesting. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Anyone know an app I can use to share and post writing with fellow writers?
Fictionpress.com This is a site for both poems and stories, original work only, that lets people comment on your work. The trouble is there are so many stories that yours will probably get lost in the list unless it's spicy. Source: about 2 years ago
  • How to start off a story?
Look at books that tell the same story that you're trying to tell and see how they started the first chapter. Look on story sites like fictionpress.com and see how other new writers start their stories. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Seeking all writers- beginners, intermediate, or experienced are more than welcomed(:
Why not just take stories off fictionpress.com and read them on your Twitch? Source: about 2 years ago
  • When you want to practice writing, how do you begin?
Look at the starting sentences of published novels that fit your story or writing style. Don't have books then go on story sharing sites like fictionpress.com or fanfiction.net. You can use a few sentences to help you get past writer's block, just don't use full chapters. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Where do I Find my Audience?
You can try fanfiction.net and for original work you can try fictionpress.com. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Do you feel like it's hard for you to get reads?
It's hard to get reads. I moved to fictionpress.com and I have gotten hundreds of reads there, as opposed to a few reads on Wattpad. Just my experience! Source: over 2 years ago
  • What got you into romance?
I read a lot of original fiction online on fictionpress.com in middle school and high school while secretly hoping for my own romance. After reading a lot of things for college that weren't my choice, I graduated and started to read a lot of romance. Now I can't stop. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Good sites for script-fics? And do people enjoy reading them?
If they are fanfics and not original work, then you should be fine posting it on fanfiction sites. I have read a few fics in that format, and I enjoyed them though it's not my preferred fic format. For original work, maybe you can share your scripts on a site like fictionpress.com. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Where can I post my writing?
Fictionpress.com this is for original stories only. No fanfictions. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Fanfic Rec
It kinda depends how popular whatever you're looking for is. There's some hidden gems, but most of it's unbetaed so there are some not-so-great quality fics. It has some nice features on it, though, like private messaging (if you prefer that), but I like ao3 because there's just more variety, as it is more popular. fanfiction.net also has a sister site (fictionpress.com) that's just for original stories, if you... • Am I the only person who exclusively reads original work/original character/unfamiliar fandom content?
.....wait, so fictionpress.com ....or somewhere else? Source: about 3 years ago
