  • Any local scholarship opportunities?
The first place that I'd recommend you check out is fastweb.com. It's a site that aggregates all kinds of random scholarship opportunities. Yes, most of these scholarships will be relatively small, but, realistically, they won't be much smaller than most community scholarships. I will note that this is very much the sort of thing where you get what you put into it: if you spend a lot of time searching and applying... Source: 5 months ago
  • Where do you guys find scholarships?
I was told from somebody who had gotten scholarships that they used FastWeb. I have never used it myself, but they constantly send me emails about new scholarships every few weeks. It might be worth giving it a try. Source: 10 months ago
  • Looking for undergrad CS, SWE, Business Scholarships for male middle-eastern HS senior
I recommend utilizing third-party scholarship search engines such as scholarships.com, fastweb.com, and scholarshipamerica.org. While I'm not familiar with international schools, I suggest focusing on local scholarships rather than international or national ones. In the U.S., local scholarships are often easier to obtain, and there tends to be less competition. Additionally, if you have already chosen a college,... Source: 11 months ago
  • Best Scholarships to Apply To?
Take a look at fastweb.com. They are competitive scholarships, but somebody has to be selected! Source: about 1 year ago
  • Help!
You may also consider searching fastweb.com, but I think these are geared more towards undergrads than grad students. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Scholarship Hunt
You can look into sites like bold.org or fastweb.com which offer scholarships, but they usually get a large volume of applicants. I don't use them, but my wife has actually won a couple. Source: about 2 years ago
  • scholarships
Also some sites like bold.org, fastweb.com, scholarships.com have outside scholarships you can write essays for, but probably is not worth pouring hours worth of essay writing into. Source: about 2 years ago
  • how do y’all make tuition work?
If you're a first-generation college student (forgive me if I misinterpreted - but I think first of your immediate family to go to college would count?), you may have some luck finding scholarships outside of UW, from websites like fastweb.com or just by googling "scholarship for first-gen college student". Not sure how much aid you'll get from those, though. Madison is a great place, but it's also expensive AF... Source: about 2 years ago
  • Cannot find any good website for non-us citizens with a list of scholarships.
As I said in the title I'm having issues finding scholarships for my undergraduate education in the US. I have already tried websites such as scholarships.com or fastweb.com but they all require the zip code of the US state where you reside. Source: about 2 years ago
  • I want to get into a good college so I can rub it into my families face
And don't worry about me falling into debt, I successfully applied for a ton of independent scholarships through fastweb.com, a database that stores as many scholarship programs as possible, and I've already gotten many of them. At this rate, I will be able to use the scholarships to pay for the majority of my undergraduate program. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Where do I go to inquire about what grants/scolarships I can get?
In addition to the recommendations of others, also check out fastweb.com. It has scholarships and grants you may qualify for. Also start out at a CC. I have an AA from a CC, a BS from UT, and now I'm in a masters program for another big name school. The AA got me into UT, which was my dream school. Source: over 2 years ago
  • How do I apply for scholarships?
#3: Scholarship websites. There's a lot out there, fastweb.com is a big one. Source: over 2 years ago
  • My mom refused to sign my sisters FAFSA and called the cops on us to kick us out of the house
Have her set up a free account on fastweb.com as well. That is a scholarship search engine that will then e-mail her any and all scholarships she might qualify for. They will also send out reminder e-mails when the application deadlines for those scholarships are approaching. Source: over 2 years ago
  • christian university as well
There are scholarships for Christians no doubt but idk where to find them rn. Try fastweb.com they are popular and filter your recommendations well. Of course, there's always google, but please don't pay for scholarship access cause that's a scam! Source: almost 3 years ago
  • I'm lost, I don't know what is the best for my future (I'm a GameDev/3dArt/CS kinda guy). Needing advice from you...
For scholarships, there are many out there that are not tied to a specific uni. Use resources like scholarships.com and fastweb.com to find legit, reputable scholarships. Also, look into any scholarships that are being offered in your local region/country that are focused on students like you. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • What are reliable scholarship websites?
Scholarships.com, fastweb.com, collegeboard, scholarshipowl.com, etc. Are decent scholarship bases but you have to sift through a bunch of them. Its generally not worth the time and energy to find every scholarship that you are eligible for but there are def some good nuggets in there. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Do y’all have any recommendations on how to find external scholarships as a transfer student?
Look at any local/regional scholarships online or use websites like fastweb.com or scholarships.com to find a ton of scholarships. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Transfer Applicant
There's also websites like unigo.com and fastweb.com. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Is it too late to apply to scholarships??
It's never too late. There are many websites that give/search for scholarships. I've used fastweb.com and Schooly.com before. Just be weary of the deadlines. Source: about 3 years ago
  • SLP masters degree sponsored?
If the only thing that is stopping you from pursuing your dream career is a loan then you may want to consider applying for personal or individual grants for education through your state government website, applying for scholarships including the ones as Asha.org through the ASHA Foundation, NSSLHA, NBASLH, and other organizations for SLPs, and then apply for general ed scholarships via financialaidfinder.com or... Source: about 3 years ago
  • Scholar Programs
Hi there. I know that fastweb.com has a number of scholar programs that include study abroad opportunities for no charge or like $20,000 given for 2 years. Other than that, I don't think I know of anymore scholar programs. Hope this helps. Source: about 3 years ago
