Small businesses that answer the same customer questions by email every week. They have the answers written down in FAQs, policies and price lists, and want a chat page that uses those documents without adding a second job of maintaining a chatbot.
FAQ Plus answers only from the documents you upload. When the answer is not in them, it says so and emails you the question with the visitor's contact details instead of guessing. Plans have hard conversation caps with no overage billing, and visitors need no account and get no cookies.
TypeScript on Cloudflare Workers with the Hono framework, Cloudflare D1 for storage, and Anthropic's Claude for answering, accessed through Cloudflare AI Gateway. Billing runs on Stripe.
Pricing is predictable: plans are priced per conversation volume with hard caps, so there is no overage billing and no credit arithmetic. Unanswered questions become emails to you with the visitor's contact details, so no question is lost. Visitors need no account and get no cookies, chats are not stored by default, and it answers in Dutch and English with a choice between informal (je) and formal (u) Dutch.
FAQ Plus was built by Solid Software, a small software company in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and launched in August 2026. The premise: small businesses already have their answers written down in FAQs, policies and price lists, and still type them out by email every week. FAQ Plus puts those documents to work on a public chat page, and anything the documents cannot answer comes back to the business by email.
