exportPDF automates personalized print production inside Adobe Illustrator (JSX script, CS4 and newer) and CorelDRAW (VBA macro as a GMS plugin, X6 and newer).
You prepare one template with named text fields and a spreadsheet saved as CSV. The script reads the file, fills the fields row by row and exports one print-ready PDF per row, with file and folder names built from your data.
What it handles that a plain mail merge does not
Where it is used
Jerseys and sportswear, business cards, labels, name badges, keychains and other personalized print runs.
Demo and licensing
The free demo runs 30 times with up to 20 CSV rows and has no feature limits. The CorelDRAW plugin is compiled for your specific version, so its demo is installed remotely over AnyDesk. The interface is available in English, German, Czech, Slovak and Polish, and so is the website.

It is not another layout tool. It runs inside the program the designer already uses, Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW, and takes over the part a data merge cannot do: it composes accented letters from a symbol library when the font has no glyph for them, builds numbers from graphic symbols as curves, places a club or sponsor logo inside a digit and scales it to each product size, and adds per-row graphics such as a sponsor for selected rows only. Every file comes out named from your data.
Most tools stop at replacing text and images. In personalized print the work that eats the day is elsewhere: a sports font without Czech, Polish or Nordic characters, a club logo that has to sit inside the digit and follow the size, one sponsor for three players out of twenty. exportPDF does all of that inside your own template, so nothing has to be redesigned, and the output is a print-ready PDF per row instead of one long merged document. It also validates glyphs before export, so a missing character is reported instead of silently switching the font.
Print shops, textile printing companies and graphic studios that produce personalized runs: sports jerseys, business cards, labels, name badges, keychains and certificates. Typically teams of one to five people working in Illustrator or CorelDRAW, who receive a spreadsheet from a client and need a separate print file for every row.
The Illustrator version is a JSX (ExtendScript) script for Adobe Illustrator CS4 and newer. The CorelDRAW version is a VBA macro delivered as a GMS plugin, compiled for the customer's CorelDRAW version, X6 and newer. Data comes from CSV, with encoding and delimiter detected automatically. There is no server and no cloud, everything runs on the user's own computer.

I lead a graphics department and I also run the IT. Every week my colleagues and I retyped player names, numbers and sponsors into dozens of jerseys. An order of 200 pieces meant about four hours of copy and paste and a constant risk of typos. I tried the built-in Variable Data panel in Illustrator, but reading values from a script did not work, batch export was missing and special characters broke. In 2025 I started writing my own script. The same 200-piece order now takes about ten minutes. Later the managing director of a printing company saw it in use, asked for a CorelDRAW version and paid for its development. That version is in daily use in their studio today.
