It converts raw survey data and utility bills into automated, framework-compliant ESG compliance files like VSME and ISSB
Specialized Environmental Focus
EcoDiligence appears to specialize in environmental due diligence and sustainability assessments, which can provide clients with expert, niche knowledge that generalist consulting firms may lack.
Supports ESG Compliance
The service likely helps businesses and investors meet growing regulatory and stakeholder demands around Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and compliance.
Risk Mitigation for Transactions
By conducting environmental due diligence, the company can help clients identify potential environmental liabilities before mergers, acquisitions, or property transactions, reducing financial and legal risk.
Growing Market Relevance
As sustainability becomes a bigger priority for investors and regulators, a company focused on eco-diligence is positioned in a high-demand, forward-looking market segment.
Potential for Customized Reporting
Environmental due diligence firms often provide tailored reports and assessments specific to a client's industry, location, or transaction type, offering more relevant insights than generic tools.
EcoDiligence recently launched publicly. We're onboarding early SME suppliers, consultants and accounting firms across Europe, Australia and Southeast Asia. Named customers will be listed here once public references are in place.
Three reasons: Purpose-built for the buyer-request problem. Most ESG platforms are carbon-accounting tools with reports bolted on. EcoDiligence starts from the disclosure a buyer will ask for and works backward. VSME- and ISSB-aligned in the same profile. One data model covers European buyers (VSME) and global capital markets (ISSB IFRS S1/S2) โ with country-specific packs for Australia (AASB S2), the US (California SB 253/261), Japan (SSBJ), Singapore, India, Brazil and more. Structured outputs, not just PDFs. The EFRAG VSME XLSX workbook and XBRL instance are produced natively, so the disclosure is machine-readable by buyer systems and auditor tools โ without a consultant re-entering data. The result: an SME can respond to a large customer's request in a single sitting instead of paying for weeks of consulting.
EcoDiligence produces a single, structured ESG profile โ an "ESG Passport" โ that answers every buyer request at once, aligned with the EU VSME standard and ISSB IFRS S1/S2. The Passport is generated in three formats: a branded PDF report, the official EFRAG VSME XLSX workbook (v1.3.0), and an XBRL instance. Very few tools in this space produce the digital VSME and XBRL outputs directly; most stop at PDF. Built for SMEs pulled into disclosure by their large customers โ not for enterprises with a dedicated sustainability team.
Three audiences, in this order: SMEs and suppliers โ companies with roughly 10โ1,000 employees that have been asked by a large customer, bank or exporter to provide sustainability data. Typical caller: a CFO, operations lead or founder without an in-house ESG function. Consultants and advisors โ sustainability consultants, accountants and bookkeepers who serve multiple SME clients and need a repeatable way to produce disclosures for them. Enterprise and procurement teams โ larger buyers that want to receive structured, comparable disclosures from their SME suppliers instead of chasing bespoke spreadsheets.
EcoDiligence was built after seeing the same pattern repeat: a large buyer sends its SME supplier a sustainability questionnaire, the supplier has no in-house team, and the choice becomes either paying a consultant thousands or answering incompletely and risking the contract. The EU's VSME standard was designed precisely to fix this โ a proportionate, standardised disclosure that a small company can produce once and reuse everywhere. EcoDiligence turns that standard into working software, and extends the same idea to ISSB and to jurisdiction-specific frameworks in Australia, the US, Japan, Singapore, Brazil and beyond.
