The best / only app that I've found to do this is Drum Computer by Sugar Bytes. Source: about 2 years ago
Have a look at Sugar Bytes' DrumComputer, it does some really cool stuff with synthesis and modulation. I don't know if it'll get a rytm sound necessarily but it's really interesting. I got it on iOS but I might get it again in VST when they next have a sale. Source: over 2 years ago
It could be samples that have been glitchified, but it sounds to me very much like 'Drum Computer'. Source: over 2 years ago
I tend to use Ableton Drum Racks (I loooove the AG kit), but if we are talking dedicated VSTs, I really really like Drumcomputer by SugarBytes. It’s very fun to use, quite deep and very versatile. Money very well spent, I think. Source: almost 3 years ago
If you want to try something different, very synthetic sounds and pretty wild when you hit the randomise functions… https://sugar-bytes.de/drumcomputer. Source: almost 3 years ago
Anything Sugar Bytes rocks IME. Have you looked at their Drum Computer? Complete beast. Thing is a beats monster. https://sugar-bytes.de/drumcomputer Takes a while to get your head round it but it’s in my top 5 no question. Also the iPad version is dope. Source: over 3 years ago
