Before you get COVID, both of you should discuss with your doctor if you would be a good candidate for Paxlovid or any other COVID therapeutic med should you become ill. Be sure to ask if there are any daily Rx meds you should hold on during treatment. Also make a plan for how you will get a script after hours or over a weekend. I can highly rec https://hidrb.com for those who are kinda tech savvy and are familiar with the meds they take. The AI interface can get a bit overwhelming for some people who take lots of medications, though. Source: over 1 year ago
The prescription medication is free, as it’s been paid for by the USG. This is one of the cheaper options ($15 consult) for people w/o health insurance to get a script written: https://hidrb.com/. Source: over 1 year ago

I think your commentary on norms is valid. However, I think there's some missing color in this story about what the "dirty laundry" being aired in public was. From what I read, this is a standard "we over-allocated vaccine doses to a location without enough planned patients to be vaccinated. Since we've popped the case of doses out of the freezer, we need to give them all ASAP or they go to waste." Does a post... - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
I just received an text from Dr.B which I signed up for months ago. They will text/notify you when a vaccine is immediately available near you. Source: almost 3 years ago
Vaccinefinder worked for me, but not every time. There’s also a site called hiDrB that lets you sign up for a covid vaccine waitlist locally to be notified that a local pharmacy had a cancellation. It prioritizes texts based on vulnerability to covid, and doesn’t share the appointment with all local drB users. Just enough to fill the available appointments. Might be worth checking out. Check out Dr B https://hidrb.com/ . They are supposed to help with extra doses on standby. Source: about 3 years ago
There's a sign up for expiring extra vaccines, I actually didn't know it was a nationwide thing or use that site, but I did call Walmart pharmacy and asked, they put me on their list. Got a call a few days later and got a shot almost 3 weeks sooner than I'd normally be eligible. Source: about 3 years ago
