Folders beginning with a dot will be hidden so you'll have to enable hidden files from the menu if you're using Dolphin the file manager. Not to be confused with Dolphin the emulator. Source: almost 2 years ago

Okay..I guess I better stop with kde applications, I use many of them excessively because the majority of them is really good and feature-full. But for a really good non-kde application: lazarus. Really too bad that I don't do delphi/Turbo Pascal development for at least 25 years anymore....because the IDE they did there is top notch! (Well, probably helps that it's a borland rip-off ;)).
