  There are services you could use to scope this out more clearly (I've had success with thumbtack and taskrabbit in the past, there's also a specific moving service called "Dolly" which might help). I don't know how much those cost, but the benefit is not having to deal with your own rentals. If I had to guess, it'd probably cost 100-200 for one of these services for this kind of move.   I sold a sofa on FB marketplace and the buyer used dolly.com for pickup and delivery. They did a nice job. I think you'll be happier with a higher-quality secondhand sofa over something cheap and new that's basically disposable.
