  • part no's for the power and heat connectors for the hot end on the pcb
Does anyone know the digikey.com or mouser.com part numbers for these 2 connectors. Both are 2-pin but a slightly different pitch. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Good mask sampler packs out there?
    1) digikey.com - They sell as few as a single mask of many types including 3M VFlex N95, as well as more specialized disposable respirators like carbon-lined 3M 8247 RN95, or N100s, etc. If you want to see their whole selection, you can choose Tools -> Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) then under "Type" choose Disposable Particulate Respirator and click Apply All. • Leap + This Button Ring = PointCtrl - This is my version
A couple pics of older versions prior to cleaning it up and figuring out the wiring. It's important that the buttons are placed the same way up/down and correctly to ensure you're soldering/using the correct polarity on each of the 4 points. I have an updated diagram I made in case anyone is daring, it's only about 30$. digikey.com has everything you need at the best prices. Amazon is overpriced to use the... Source: about 2 years ago
  • Need information for broken regulator
Digikey.com and mouser.com are your friends, if it doesn't show there then things get more difficult. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Seeking advice to repair an overvolted controller
Mouser.com and digikey.com are the popular ones but they tend to be a bit overwhelming. I did some digging and found this post and skipping ahead to this image they indicate the location of the voltage regulator, and even list it as being a TI tpsSomething or other, very interesting chip, looks like it can actually handle single li-ion/po cell, but not 2 in series. Bad news is thats not something I would want to... Source: over 2 years ago
  • IC catalog for bandpass modulation schemes? (ASK, QAM, PSK, FSK)
Digikey.com or mouser would probably be two places to search, but I'm not sure how many dedicated chips there are for specific modulation schemes. There are RF transceiver chips which might be what you are talking about? anybody doing serious comms stuff it designing it from the ground up in FPGAs. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Wish the shipping costs where lower for canada :(
Both Digikey and Mouser carry Adafruit products at no markup. I have absolutely no idea if either does business in Canada, but if they do they might get around the international shipping charges. If they don't it's worth checking for other resellers. Good luck, I've heard plenty of stories about the awful shipping costs :(. Source: over 2 years ago
  • JUGGS 4 channel vintage fuse replacement?
If you are in the US, the fuse looks to be a 1.25" long, .25" fast blow, 2 amp fuse, a common AGC or 3AG size. any local repair shop is likely to have one or even Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Cooper-Bussmann-AGC-Series-2-Amp-Silver-Electronic-Fuses-5-Pack-BP-AGC-2/100187678 or Amazon. I'd avoid buying a fuse on e-bay, etc as I'd want to know I'm getting a name brand fuse, Buss or Littlefuse. ... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Where do you order 1500-3000mAH LiPos in bulk of 3 to 4 thousand?
Try here digikey.comDigikey. Based on the order size requirements you may not be of interest to big suppliers. Aggregators like mentioned above can help. If it isnโ€™t in stock, call them and they can provide you lead times. Source: over 2 years ago
  • URGENT HELP: Substitute to ISD 1820
If you go to digikey.com and look for ISD1620BSY, they got (at the moment of posting this) 577 pcs in stock. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Broken inductor on ST1000SPEX43 4-Port PCIe Gigabit Network Adapter Card - Can it still be used?
This looks like an inductor in a switching regulator. The inductor seems to be connected still and while the ferrite is snapped, it likely still has close to the required inductance for the switching regulator to still work. I would give it a shot. Worst case, you can get replacement inductors on digikey.com or mouser.com overnight, if you are able to solder them on. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Anyone know what this is, I found it in my cars tailight and I believe it to be the electrical problem. Not sure what itโ€™s called and I need to buy a new one
However, you MUST use one with the same resistance (15-ohm). You can pretty much trust things you buy from mouser.com or digikey.com but if you buy something cheap from Amazon, Alibaba, Aliexpress, eBay, etc.... You must test it yourself! Make sure to perform the two tests I showed above with a $30 multimeter and make sure the resistor can handle being connected to a 12-Volt car battery for 15 minutes without... • What's the exact name of this fan 2 pin connector?
When I have this problem, I go to digikey.com, search for "wire to board connector," and use the filters to narrow down by pin count and spacing and size. Source: over 2 years ago
  • anyone know what these wires are called and where i can get them
Agreed. You can get all of these off parts on digikey.com or mouser.com. Source: over 2 years ago
  • I'm looking for a Hall effect sensor to fit better in this circuit. It's about turning on a LED light bulb with a magnetic field sensor but I barely know about this kind of electronic components. Any recommendations? Thank you all
Typically to find stuff like this you'd go to an electronic distributors site (like digikey.com or mouser.com) and use their search pages. Mouser's search page for hall sensors (I've already restricted the search for through-hole parts) comes up with a bunch of 'em. Then you can use the search criteria to further limit the number of choices (such as selecting the 'operating supply voltage' to all the ranges... Source: over 2 years ago
  • When you finally find the issue
I saw them listed at digikey.com when I bought my 2, 3 and 5 bangers... But didn't understand their use case. Source: over 2 years ago
  • How do you guys splice solid to stranded? Tips, Tricks?

  • Genmon Raspberry Pi 2B project
The hard part was finding a Raspberry Pi. I stumbled upon an RPi 2B at digikey.com towards the end of November for $35US. After a few FedEx deals I was able to start the "build" process by mid-December. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Electronic components near Worcester
Unfortunately this is probably your best option for something quick and cheap. Otherwise check out mouser.com or digikey.com for a near infinite selection of toggles. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Is there a 470nF (0.47uF) ceramic (or any other non-polarized capacitor) that has very low ESR?
Digikey.com has an excellent parametric search engine. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • How can I feel less intimidated by BOMs?
BOMs are pretty time consuming so it's normal that you feel a little anxious, I recomend a couple of webpages to help you with them though: mouser and digikey, they both hold big stock of several components but most importantly they have really powerful search engine filters, I'll walk you through how I use them.
