• Ordered food from Deliveroo. Driver claimed he delivered and stole my food. When I called they claimed he now said his car broke down and he didn’t deliver. I asked for my tip to be returned and told ‘no consider it a donation’.

  I spent over 2 weeks chasing money from Delivery.com when my food was never delivered. These delivery service providers really try to give the run-around. I exchanged something like 40 emails and made a few phone calls before finally getting $60 of the $98 I was owed.   They could be off Doordash.com but still use the DD tablet for third party orders. This is what DD used to call a Drive order. In addition to delivery.com, some merchants have their own website and use DD that way. In these cases they have to input the driver tip.   If you have Amazon Prime you can get grubhub (aka seamless) for free for a year. My favorite used to be delivery.com which had very few service fees unlike the others. These days I just go with the one that has an active promotion OR even better just call the restaurant and order direct. Source: over 1 year ago

  I have also had many frustrating experiences lately, but overall, DoorDash has been the least bad. Both BtownMenus and delivery.com have taken my order only to bail on it later, like what you're going through right now. DoorDash is also always the fastest.   Been doing delivery.com for a month. You get 74% of the delivery fee + tips. The restaurants all seem to have orders between $25-75. The tips absolutely suck ass. I feel like delivery.com doesn't even encourage tips. First three days, 5 hours per day... I made $87 TOTAL. Most shifts I average about $60 for four hours... And spend about $10-$15 in gas.   They deliver don’t they? Why would you need “delivery.com” ….. also, you should use a credit card. Then you can use your credit card as a middle man, dispute it with the credit card company and they will look into it and probably refund your money. Source: almost 3 years ago

  As an MSP for a LOT of these local restaurants, the issue isn't that they don't want to integrate or offer it, it's that they charge a TON of money. So food service is already low profit margin, and I've heard some tell me doordash/favor/uber eats/sic em delivery (Now delivery.com), want something like 10% or more of the sale.
