They could be off Doordash.com but still use the DD tablet for third party orders. This is what DD used to call a Drive order. In addition to delivery.com, some merchants have their own website and use DD that way. In these cases they have to input the driver tip. If you have Amazon Prime you can get grubhub (aka seamless) for free for a year. My favorite used to be delivery.com which had very few service fees unlike the others. I have also had many frustrating experiences lately, but overall, DoorDash has been the least bad. Both BtownMenus and delivery.com have taken my order only to bail on it later, like what you're going through right now. DoorDash is also always the fastest. Been doing delivery.com for a month. You get 74% of the delivery fee + tips. The restaurants all seem to have orders between $25-75. The tips absolutely suck ass. I feel like delivery.com doesn't even encourage tips. First three days, 5 hours per day... I made $87 TOTAL. Most shifts I average about $60 for four hours... And spend about $10-$15 in gas.
