Practice tests. My understanding is that there is not service from ISC for practice tests, although I found an iOS app called "CISSP ISC^2 official app". Is this official? Other apps I found are "Learnzapp", "CISSP Pocket Prep", "CISSP Exam prep 2023". But, you don't need to join the military (unless you want to), or even get a degree - Hop on to cybrary.it and start doing the Net+ and Sec+ study courses and go take the certification exam. Those are entry-level certs and if you start applying for entry level IT/Security jobs around here, and have the certs, I'd bet you'll get picked up in a blink. I pay for a site with courses and practice exams (cybrary.it), but I typically read a chapter since it's broken down by objective, then watch a messer video on said topic,and then practice test just questions from that section. Without the site, I would think you can just search the objectives on google with a practice test at the end and find some scattered across the net. Source: almost 4 years ago

So, not too long ago I started my IT/Cybersecurity 'journey'. I made a choice towards not taking the long path via attending a college which would take several years, but rather take something for a shorter term. I stumbled upon cybrary.it on the internet which is not bad at all but I realized that wouldn't be enough. So here come the CompTIA certs. I am planning to obtain the A+, Network+ and Security+. I legitimately made this choice so I went with comp sci because of pay rate and it seemed more desirable on applications. With cybersecurity you can get the certs on your own and only pay for the tests cybrary.it Offers free classes and paid options this is my plan pairs perfectly wit each other.
