CueForge is a subtitle and caption editor that runs in the browser. Everything happens on your device. The files you open, including audio you transcribe, never get uploaded. The only network calls it makes are a Pro licence check and a cookieless page-view count.

The free tier reads and writes SRT, WebVTT, SBV, and ASS/SSA in both directions, and it handles QC checks, file repair, timing shift and retime, cue-by-cue styling, and authoring from scratch. No account required.

Pro is $99 a year or $12 a month, with a 7-day trial. It adds the broadcast and platform formats: SCC (CEA-608), MCC (CEA-708), EBU-STL, TTML, iTunes iTT, and EBU-TT-D. You also get frame-rate conversion, drift correction, audio auto-resync, QC compliance reports as CSV or printable output, custom QC presets, and batch conversion of a folder into a ZIP. On-device transcription produces a timed, word-aligned draft that you then edit by hand.

Before any conversion, CueForge shows a loss matrix for that specific format pair, so you can see what data will not survive the round trip. The built-in QC presets cover Netflix (Latin and Arabic), YouTube, and a generic profile. Right-to-left and bidirectional text, including Arabic and Hebrew, is carried through the whole pipeline.
