Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Conectodo Packing.
  1. What makes Conectodo Packing unique?

The shipping label is the control point. The operator scans every item in the order, the system recognises which order each item belongs to, and the label is released only once the order is complete and correct. If the order is wrong, no label prints. Most tools in this space print labels in batches and leave the matching of label to parcel in the operator's hands, which is exactly where the error happens. Conectodo is also native to Mercado Libre: carts holding several orders are treated as one physical parcel, several seller accounts can be connected at once, and Mercado Libre Flex is covered end to end, including courier settlement by period.

  2. Why should a person choose Conectodo Packing over its competitors?

Classic warehouse management systems start at the receiving dock: inventory, purchase orders, cycle counts. They are heavy, they take months to implement, and they were not built around a marketplace. Shipping tools sit at the other end and solve the label, not the order. Conectodo sits in between and covers only the outbound half, which is where an ecommerce warehouse actually breaks. It connects over OAuth with no data migration, the team is working the same day, operator seats are unlimited on every plan, and it starts at USD 69 per month.

  3. How would you describe the primary audience of Conectodo Packing?

Ecommerce sellers with their own warehouse who pick, pack and ship in house, selling on Mercado Libre, Tiendanube and other channels in Argentina and Uruguay. There is no volume floor or ceiling: from a seller shipping a few dozen orders a day to warehouses running several pickers and packers per shift. The buyer is usually the owner or the operations manager. It is not a fit for sellers who only use marketplace fulfilment, for dropshippers, or for anyone whose main problem is goods receiving or stock control.

  4. What's the story behind Conectodo Packing?

Conectodo was built inside the problem it solves. The same failure kept showing up in ecommerce warehouses: the right product in the wrong box, discovered only once the buyer had already complained. The teams were not careless. They were being asked to tell apart hundreds of similar products from memory, at speed, on a peak day. So the product was built around one rule instead of around more reporting: the shipping label does not exist until the order has been verified item by item. Everything else grew around that rule.

  5. Which are the primary technologies used for building Conectodo Packing?

A TypeScript monorepo. The web app is built with React, using TanStack Query for data and React Router for navigation; the picking screens run in the browser on the operator's phone rather than as a native app. The API is Node.js with Express, also in TypeScript, using Prisma as the ORM over PostgreSQL. Delivery zones and geolocation for Mercado Libre Flex use the Google Maps API. Sales channels and carriers are integrated through their official APIs, and channel connections are authorised over OAuth, so channel credentials are never stored in the app. A small desktop companion, Conectodo Listener, runs on the customer's PC and sends jobs to the thermal printers at each packing station.

  6. Who are some of the biggest customers of Conectodo Packing?

Conectodo works with ecommerce sellers in Argentina and Uruguay. Customer names are not published without their written consent, so they are described here by their operation: - A seller shipping around 260 orders a day, which went from roughly 75 incorrect shipments a month to practically zero after adopting scan-verified packing - Multichannel sellers running Mercado Libre and Tiendanube side by side, plus their own manual and B2B sales - Sellers with their own Mercado Libre Flex fleet, using delivery zones and courier settlement - An operation in Uruguay shipping with DAC
