My way of doing marketing starts with figuring out what my overall project will (or will not) be. In this case, I looked at the vendors like Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, or Help Scout. They all have whizbang features such as live-chat, collaboration stuffs, automations and workflows. They bill per contact and addons. I’d emphasize a straightforward, fuss-free angle instead. What's really interesting is Entangle. https://entangle-photo.org/ It works with a lot of DSLRs, it doesn't require you to do any of these steps, and it captures the output. The only thing it doesn't do is then map that to an output for other applications to pick up. This. Go for tethered capture on a pair of old dSLRs and use something like an rPi or just bloody long cables to pull the images to an always-on linux box.
