ZedGi is a TCP-to-HTTP proxy that lets edge runtimes and serverless functions talk to traditional TCP databases โ€” Redis, Postgres, and MySQL โ€” over standard HTTPS. Instead of managing VPNs, firewall rules, or connection pools, you install a lightweight client library and issue database commands over HTTP. The proxy handles the underlying TCP connections and returns results as JSON.

Bring your own database. Unlike Upstash, Neon, or PlanetScale, ZedGi connects to your existing Redis, Postgres, or MySQL instance. No migration, no vendor lock-in.

  • Short-lived JWT bridge โ€” A 30-second token carries only re-encrypted credential blobs, never plaintext
  • Caller IP allowlist โ€” Optionally restrict each service to requests from a specific source IP
  • Sub-10ms platform overhead โ€” Connection pooling plus KV-based authentication keeps added latency minimal
  • Runs everywhere โ€” Cloudflare Workers, Deno, AWS Lambda, Vercel Edge, Node.js, and any runtime that speaks HTTPS
