Zapsite doesn't start from a blank prompt. It starts from what the business already has online — an old website, an Instagram or Facebook page, a Google Business Profile, or a PDF menu — and pulls the real content, structure, and images out of it.

That means the owner writes nothing. No prompt engineering, no picking a template, no filling placeholder text. A barber pastes his Instagram URL and gets a real multi-page site in about ten minutes: his actual services, his actual prices, his actual photos.

Output is plain HTML and CSS — static, fast, and mobile-first, not a heavy page builder wrapped around a framework. Hosting, SSL, and contact forms are included. Edits happen in plain language: describe the change, republish.

Local service businesses with fewer than 20 employees and no in-house marketing: barbershops, restaurants, dental clinics, salons, cafés, gyms, auto shops.

They usually fall into one of two groups. Either they have a site from around 2014 that they're still paying to host and nobody has touched since, or they have no site at all and Instagram is doing the job. Both are losing customers who search and find nothing credible.

They're not technical, they don't have a designer, and they won't spend three weeks on a rebuild. Main markets are Spain and English-speaking Europe.

The second audience is agencies and freelancers who serve those businesses and want to produce sites faster than they can build them by hand.

I kept noticing the same thing among small business owners: they assume a modern website is a thousands-of-euros project, so they never start. Meanwhile they're already spending — hosting fees, domain renewals, the occasional invoice to whoever built the old site years ago — to keep something alive that nobody would build that way today.

Then I looked at the AI tools that were supposed to fix this. Every one of them still handed the owner the work: write a good prompt, pick a template, sort out hosting, worry about SEO. A restaurant owner isn't going to do that. She has a menu, an Instagram page, and eleven other things to deal with today.
