Every class has one parent who ends up collecting the money. For the zoo trip, the teacher's flowers, the art supplies. Their toolkit: a spreadsheet named skladkiFINALv3.xlsx, a group chat with 61 unread messages, and a nagging feeling that someone still owes 45.

ClassKasa replaces that with one link. The treasurer opens a collection, shares the link in the chat, and every family sees what to pay and how - by the bank transfer they already know how to make. No app for parents to install, no accounts, no card data. The treasurer ticks off who paid; the public class page shows progress without ever showing names.

Teachers get a view of what the class is collecting for and can update trip details. The whole thing speaks 15 languages, with local domains for the UK, Poland, Germany and Spain.

The free plan covers unlimited classes with up to 5 collections each. Premium (per class, from โ‚ฌ6/month - only the treasurer ever pays, never parents) adds bank-statement scanning with automatic transfer matching, payment reminders, and a finances chat. School plans available.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Zaplingo and ClassKasa.

What makes your product unique?

ClassKasa's answer:

One link replaces the group chat and the spreadsheet. The treasurer opens a collection, shares one link, and every family sees what to pay and pays by normal bank transfer - no app to install, no account to create. Premium adds bank-statement scanning that matches transfers to families automatically, so nobody manually reconciles who sent 44.99 instead of 45.

What's the story behind your product?

ClassKasa's answer:

Built after watching class treasurers run collections through spreadsheets and 60-message group chats, chasing the same family for the same 20 zล‚ three times. ClassKasa replaces that with one shareable link per collection and a clear view of who's paid.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

ClassKasa's answer:

Most tools in this space are either school-wide platforms schools have to adopt, or generic payment pools not built for the "one treasurer, one class, recurring collections" shape. ClassKasa is built specifically for that: a public class page shows progress without ever showing names, roles exist for treasurer/parent/teacher, and it's free for everyday class life - Premium is paid only by the treasurer, never by parents.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

ClassKasa's answer:

Parents who volunteer as class treasurers in K-12 schools, plus the parents and teachers of their classes. Self-serve, freemium: individual treasurers start free; schools can cover every class in the school with a paid annual plan.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

ClassKasa's answer:

Next.js and React on the frontend, PostgreSQL (Neon) via Prisma for data, Stripe for subscription billing, and the Anthropic API for AI-assisted bank-statement reconciliation. Hosted on Netlify.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

ClassKasa's answer:

None, as of yet.
