YouTubeTo be honest, YouTube is not only a platform where you can watch /download the video ,but a wonderful field where you can share and grow personally and help oher people to flourish through sharing your vision , art ,creativity ,etc.
I like the idea of YouTube serving as a search engine and an entertaining feat
Based on our record, YouTube seems to be a lot more popular than Gitpay. While we know about 1988 links to YouTube, we've tracked only 3 mentions of Gitpay. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
The very first step here is to enter the domain youโre looking for in your browser. I will be using https://youtube.com throughout the post, but you can replace this with any other website. The next step is performed as soon as you click โenterโ or โsearch.โ. - Source: dev.to / 5 days ago
Ironically, I finally caught up on an online web series (though it's been adapted to a published book as well as audiobooks) and discovered the author does live stream their writing of unreleased chapters. They're a bit too prolific to actually dig into their overall process, but you can watch them type for hours straight. It's awfully boring tbh since there's no interaction and they're understandably focused on... - Source: Hacker News / 6 days ago
I recognized the name of the company from the YouTube videos they have posted. It is likely a legitimate business, but as they are in a region I am not in, I can't speak to their actual performance or reliability. Here is their YouTube page: https://youtube.com/@graphicscardrepairs-tk7ql?si=OIO98TbmAsmlN_tM. - Source: Hacker News / 13 days ago
Https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43955906 - The other day I tried having a model implement Fedi's superfluid quantum gravity for a black hole simulation in JS given also EHT data. I asked it to implement with R3F ReactThreeFiber and Drei (ThreeJS) and NextJS with OpenNext for the GUI and framework. I haven't yet upgraded to WASM optimization for the nonlinear fluid parts. There are parameter... - Source: Hacker News / 13 days ago

I'm thinking of using some bug bounty type of services to speed up bugfixes and adding new features, anyone has experience with it? I mean services like https://www.bountysource.com/ , https://gitpay.me/ or https://issuehunt.io/. Source: about 5 years ago
I don't think we have a good model for monetary rewards for maintenance. If Haskell.org was providing support contracts covering a wide range of libraries, I would guess a lot of companies would use the option. However, signing a support contract with a maintainer of every dependency I have is infeasible. Things like Gitpay (bounties for PRs) have been tried time and again, and they never take off.
