Most traders donโt journal, and even those who do, stop after a week. Spreadsheets are messy, manual, and never tell you what matters. JournalPlus fixes that. You log your trades (takes under 2 minutes), and JournalPlus handles the rest. It analyzes your performance, identifies your patterns, and gives you actionable insights: When do you overtrade?
Which setup works best?
Whatโs your real edge?
Are you improving?
Whether youโre into options, forex, equities, or crypto โ JournalPlus gives you clarity and control over your decisions. Built with traders in mind, it works across styles (intraday, swing, positional) and is always getting better.

JournalPlus's answer:
JournalPlus is built for traders, by tradersโespecially for the Indian market. Unlike complex platforms or foreign tools that miss local nuances, JournalPlus is laser-focused on what matters: journaling trades, analyzing mistakes, and improving discipline. Itโs not bloated with features youโll never use. Thereโs no subscription, just a one-time payment for lifetime access. Itโs easy to use, doesnโt require Notion, Excel, or coding skills, and is designed to actually help you stop blowing up your account.
JournalPlus's answer:
JournalPlus is built for retail tradersโespecially those who trade in stocks, options, futures, and cryptoโand want to improve their trading performance through better journaling and accountability.
Itโs ideal for:
Beginner to intermediate traders looking to identify patterns in their wins and losses
Discipline-focused individuals who want to cut emotional decisions and FOMO trades
Indian traders, though it's useful for global users too
Traders who are tired of overcomplicated tools or expensive subscription-based platforms
JournalPlus's answer:
JournalPlus was born out of frustrationโand a deep need for clarity.
Like most retail traders, we made impulsive trades, repeated the same mistakes, and blamed the markets. But the real problem? We werenโt learning from our trades. We realized journaling was the keyโbut most trading journals were either too complex, too expensive, or just didnโt fit into our daily routine.
So, we built JournalPlus.
A simple, powerful trading journal designed by traders, for tradersโto track every trade, reflect on every mistake, and finally build the discipline that profitable trading demands.
Today, JournalPlus helps thousands of traders stay accountable, break bad patterns, and growโwith just one lifetime payment.
JournalPlus's answer:
JournalPlus is trusted by thousands of individual traders, including:
Full-time independent traders looking to optimize performance
Beginner retail traders who want structure and discipline
Trading educators and mentors who recommend it to students
Prop firm aspirants preparing for challenges with consistent journaling
Excellent interface! Neat and smooth! This really turned out to be great investment. Helps me track my progress. Love the insight it gives you!
Finally the journal that is available for the Indian markets out there. The psychological analysis and the track of P&L records helps a lot in understanding the strengths and weaknesses of a trader. The analytics part of this journal gives much more useful insights than any other journal out there. It's definitely worth every rupee!
There is everything that you aspire for in your trading journal that too with AI analytics. The team also is so dedicated that they keep developing the journal along with clients requirements. Will definitely recommend any trader to have this journal.

Clickable link: https://ynab.com I'm a huge fan of You Need A Budget, it was instrumental in giving me control over my finances. It feels like a superpower to see all my money in one place and not care which bank account the dollars actually reside. Also makes it easier to take advantage of various offers (Credit card or things like HYSA) since I know all the records will live in YNAB and I have full control... - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
You'll be going into a tight budget time, so get a really good system in place. If you don't have that you love already, I recommend YNAB (youneedabudget.com). It's envelope based and is really good for planning ahead for irregular expenses and for "rolling with the punches" if something comes up. It works differently than traditional monthly budget, so take time to use all the resources to learn the system. ... Source: about 3 years ago
I also said in a comment below, I use YNAB to track my financial life. This strategy only works if you have enough confidence in your finances to know that if I gave you a card with 100k credit limit, you would never spend more on it than what you have in your bank and has been budgeted for. If not, I cannot overstate how important it is to get your budget in order beforehand. Thereโs zero money saved if you pay... Source: about 3 years ago

Track it by hand or in software. I started out with just a spreadsheet, but since then moved my whole budget to YNAB (youneedabudget.com), where you track all your individual savings goals as well as how your money will be used to cover regular (and irregular) expenses. Now the whole plan is in one place, and covers everything from how much is set aside for gardening supplies for this summer to the big... Source: over 3 years ago
