Our founder wanted to extend his familyโs living space outdoors but he didnโt know where to start, or how to envision what he actually wanted. Hiring a landscape designer meant thousands of dollars and weeks of waiting for something he wasnโt even sure was right. Consumer AI tools mostly provided pretty pictures with no plan for what to plant, buy, or build next.
Yard AI came out of that gap: upload a photo of your yard, see real redesigns on your space, and get a practical plan โ costs, plants, materials, and local contractors โ so you can move from โI wish our yard felt like another roomโ to something you can actually do.

Yard AI is a modern web app backed by cloud functions and AI pipelines: computer vision to read the yard photo, generative AI for photorealistic redesigns, and enriched structured generation for the plan (costs, plants, materials, contractors). Climate/soil context draws on USDA hardiness zones and regional data so recommendations fit the property โ not a generic template.

After starting the project called socketify.py at https://github.com/cirospaciari/socketify.py, I got pretty good results and reviews, but many people asked if socketify.py could be used to create a WSGI and ASGI server. WSGI and ASGI have a lot of overhead, that's is why I choose not to use them in the first place, but adding an ASGI and WSGI server allows a lot of code already written to run faster!
