As answered by people managing YAMLValidator.dev and ThreadAnalyzer.online.
YAMLValidator.dev's answer
It validates YAML against real schemas — generic YAML, Kubernetes, Docker Compose, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Helm, OpenAPI, and more — not just syntax checking. Everything runs client-side, so your config files never leave your machine. It works both as a Chrome extension (with GitHub integration for collapsible code blocks) and as a standalone website.
ThreadAnalyzer.online's answer:
Java Thread Dump Analyzer is a web-based online tool specifically designed for analyzing Java thread dump files. Its uniqueness lies in: Simple Web Interface: No need to install complex software, directly upload files in the browser for analysis Intelligent Thread Grouping: Automatically identifies thread pool patterns and displays thread states by functional groups Deadlock Detection: Automatically identifies and reports deadlock situations Real-time Analysis: Provides thread state distribution statistics and potential issue identification
YAMLValidator.dev's answer
There's simply no other Chrome extension that does this. Most online YAML tools are web-only, require an internet connection, and only check syntax. YAML Validator runs entirely offline, validates against 11+ schemas with auto-detection (Kubernetes, Docker Compose, GitHub Actions, and more), and enriches GitHub with collapsible code blocks for YAML files. It's fast, private, and requires zero setup — install and go.
ThreadAnalyzer.online's answer:
Free and Open Source: Completely free to use with transparent open-source code No Installation Required: Web-based platform with cross-platform compatibility Bilingual Support: Provides both Chinese and English interfaces Fast Analysis: Real-time processing with immediate analysis results Professional Blog Content: Offers detailed thread dump analysis tutorials and best practices
YAMLValidator.dev's answer
DevOps engineers, SREs, and backend developers who work with Kubernetes manifests, Docker Compose files, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure Pipelines), Helm charts, and OpenAPI specs. Anyone who edits YAML config files and wants instant validation without leaving the browser.
ThreadAnalyzer.online's answer:
Java Developers: Developers who need to diagnose performance issues in production environments DevOps Engineers: Operations personnel responsible for system monitoring and troubleshooting System Architects: Architects who need to analyze system thread states and performance bottlenecks Technical Support Teams: Support personnel who need to quickly locate Java application issues
YAMLValidator.dev's answer
I am software engineer and extension(and lately site) was made out of frustration with debugging YAML indentation errors in CircleCI schemes and Kubernetes deployments. A misplaced space in a YAML file can break an entire deployment, and generic text editors don't catch schema-level mistakes. YAML Validator was built to catch those errors before they reach production — directly in the browser, with zero setup.
ThreadAnalyzer.online's answer:
This is a tool created to solve the difficulties Java developers face when analyzing thread dumps. The developers found traditional command-line analysis tools complex and difficult to use, so they created a simple and intuitive web interface that allows anyone to easily analyze Java thread dump files and quickly identify common issues such as deadlocks and thread pool exhaustion.
YAMLValidator.dev's answer

YAMLValidator.dev's answer
YAML Validator is a free, open-use tool — it doesn't track users or require accounts. It's used by individual developers and teams working with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. As a privacy-first browser tool, there's no customer list by design. The browser extension currently has around 800 users worldwide.
