Wuniq is a local knowledge engine that gives AI coding agents persistent, structured memory for a project. It stores knowledge beside your files: decisions, constraints, intent, gotchas, rejected alternatives, and meaningful relationships. AI assistants connect through MCP, so the same project knowledge can continue across different clients and sessions.

Unlike a single static context file, Wuniq indexes knowledge progressively, keeps it scoped, and detects drift when project files change. Knowledge can also be exported to Markdown. Wuniq runs locally, requires no account, sends no telemetry, and keeps its core free.

Wuniq is available for Windows through the Microsoft Store and for Linux through the Snap Store. It is currently in beta after more than a year of development and extensive real-world use by its independent creator.
