WoofConnect started to solve a common problem for dog owners. Working with the Le Woef Foundation, which rescues dogs from Romania and places them with families in the Netherlands, we noticed a frequent issue: these families often struggled to find caring and reliable pet care for vacations.
One day, two adopters, Kelly and Tom, met on a walk with their nearly identical dogs, both from Le Woef. They bonded quickly, and when Kelly mentioned she hadnโt taken a vacation because of dog care issues, Tom offered to help. Their dogs got along well, and after a successful trial night, the two began caring for each other's dogs whenever needed. This experience led us to create WoofConnectโa platform where dog owners find trusted, in-home care within their community.

After starting the project called socketify.py at https://github.com/cirospaciari/socketify.py, I got pretty good results and reviews, but many people asked if socketify.py could be used to create a WSGI and ASGI server. WSGI and ASGI have a lot of overhead, that's is why I choose not to use them in the first place, but adding an ASGI and WSGI server allows a lot of code already written to run faster!
