I don't think you need to be a holder of both. I put my mom on my Wells Fargo account and she sent to my account. There is also https://wise.com/us/ . This one I have used to send to someones account in Vietnam. It does have slightly higher fee. But it goes straight into their account. From Wells Fargo I would have to go and get USD then exchange it to Vietnamese currency. Source: about 2 years ago
They invoice in Euros (Czech Republic) so also be aware of fees on payments. I've successfully used TransferWise (https://wise.com/us/). Source: over 2 years ago
It's not a credit card. It's just a way to convert currency w/o a fee. https://wise.com/us/. Source: over 2 years ago
Get a Wise account. Open one in your local currency, and one in US currency. I was doing that for the first few months. Source: almost 3 years ago
Iโve used Wise for bank payments from international clients before: https://wise.com/us/ that way youโre not giving them your actual bank info but the process is similar on the clientโs end. Source: almost 3 years ago
This is very nice, might I also recommend: Cardpointers. I am not affiliated in any way, just a satisfied user. They also have a Cardpointers Reddit. The developer is very active on that reddit. Source: over 2 years ago
Shoutout to the CardPointers app and browser extension. You just log into your CC account and itโll detect youโre on a banking page and add all the offers. Source: over 2 years ago
Hi all, I'm Emmanuel, the indie developer who's been working on the CardPointers app which launched right here on r/CreditCards almost exactly 4 years ago, and have been super busy the last few months adding in all of the most-requested features from y'all -- thank you so much for all of the awesome feedback! I trialed CardPointers which sounds like part of what youโre looking for. It was good for credit card rewards, but the yearly cost for Pro didnโt seem worth it to me. I already have a general grasp of which credit card to use though. Source: over 2 years ago
Hi all, I'm the indie developer making the app CardPointers, which I launched right here back in 2019 to help users know which of their credit cards to use to get the most points or cash back on every purchase. Since then it has launched on every platform, with Android in January. Source: about 3 years ago
