   NodeBB is a next-generation discussion platform that utilizes web sockets for instant interactions and real-time notifications.    I was lucky enough to stumble on NodeBB in the early days right as we were transitioning a large user base from another forum and needed a platform that could handle the volume and speed of interactions that our users demanded. We took a big risk on NodeBB in 2014 when it was brand new and it has paid off in spades over the years. For seven years our users have consistently raved about ease of use and performance of the platform while on the back end we have been thrilled with the ease of management and low resource needs of hosting even for a site hitting hundreds of millions of hits per month. It is modern, regularly updated, has a great community and team behind it. We've always gotten lots of support and know that we made the right choice and continue to choose NodeBB as our forum of choice.

• Any website that allows me to see a zoomed in version of a painting so that I can see the actual texture of the paint?

  In my experience it can be very difficult to get even decent scans of many paintings. I've had a bit of luck with wikiart.org on occasion. The ARC also has some serviceable images. Apparently you can pay for access to higher quality scans, which I haven't tried myself but it's an option. Source: over 3 years ago

  The other individual is tight that the lightning lends to the confusion; however, lightning creates depth and depth is only one way to present clarity. I would recommend heading over to a website like WikiArt then head to styles and browse art from 'Cubism' and 'Surrealism'.   If you want art/artists that pushes the Magic boundaries a bit I'd recommend wikiart.org. You can look for art based on art movements and genre and find some cool people. If you find artists you really like there who are still alive, find their website and then you have a goldmine. Source: almost 4 years ago

• Something similar to Muzei on windows?

  I like to use Muzei on my android device and get every day a new painting. Is there something like it for windows? I have tried an app called John’s Background Switcher for Windows, but I did find any rss to configure with that. I've seen that Muzei for android use wikiart.org publications.   You said it's based on. This means that there are modifications to the implementation of nodebb. So where is your modifications' source code then? stackfoss/stackfoss is just a single readme file. Source: over 3 years ago
