Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

WheelPage 5 features
Modular JavaScript 5 features
  • Specialized Wheel Marketplace
WheelPage focuses specifically on wheels, tires, and related accessories, making it a niche marketplace where buyers can find a wide selection of wheel-related products in one place.
  • Visual Discovery Platform
The platform emphasizes visual browsing, allowing users to see how different wheels look and compare styles, which is important when shopping for aesthetically-driven products like custom wheels.
  • Community and Social Features
WheelPage incorporates social and community elements, allowing car enthusiasts to share their setups and builds, which helps buyers get inspiration and see real-world examples of wheel fitments.
  • Fitment Information
The platform provides fitment details and specifications, helping users find wheels that are compatible with their specific vehicle make and model, reducing the risk of purchasing incorrect sizes.
  • Free to Browse and List
Users can browse listings and post their own wheels for sale without significant barriers to entry, making it accessible for both buyers and sellers in the aftermarket wheel community.
  • Improved Code Organization
Modular JavaScript allows developers to break down code into smaller, manageable modules. This enhances code readability and maintainability by organizing related functionality together.
  • Code Reusability
Modules encourage reusability by allowing the same piece of code to be used across different projects or multiple areas of the same application, reducing redundancy.
  • Scalability
As the application grows, managing code becomes easier with modular JavaScript. Each module can be developed, tested, and maintained independently, making the codebase more scalable.
  • Encapsulation
Modules provide encapsulation, preventing variables and functions from polluting the global namespace. This reduces the risk of naming conflicts and bugs.
  • Improved Testing
With code organized into discrete modules, writing unit tests becomes more straightforward. Each module can be tested individually, leading to more reliable and maintainable tests.

Possible disadvantages

  • Increased Complexity
Introducing modularity can add complexity to the build process, as it often requires module loaders or bundlers (like Webpack or Browserify) to manage dependencies.
  • Overhead
For smaller projects, using a modular approach might be overkill, introducing unnecessary overhead in terms of setup, configuration, and code management.
  • Learning Curve
Developers unfamiliar with modular JavaScript may face a learning curve, especially when dealing with module patterns, loaders, and bundlers.
  • Dependency Management
Relying on multiple modules can lead to complex dependency chains, making it challenging to track and resolve dependencies across different modules.
  • Performance Overhead
Modular JavaScript can introduce performance overhead if not managed properly, such as loading many small modules individually, leading to increased HTTP requests.

What makes your product unique?

WheelPage's answer

WheelPage is built to be fast, clean, and distraction-free. No clutter, no confusing buttons, no hidden ads—just a beautiful spin wheel that works instantly on any device.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

WheelPage's answer

Most online spin wheels are full of ads and pop-ups, which ruin the experience. WheelPage focuses on simplicity and trust: it’s free, reliable, and puts the user first. You don’t waste time, you just spin.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

WheelPage's answer

Our main audience is anyone who needs quick and fair decisions—teachers doing classroom activities, friends running giveaways, gamers making fun choices, or people deciding everyday things like “what’s for dinner.”

What's the story behind your product?

WheelPage's answer

I was frustrated with existing spin wheel sites—they were slow, messy, and covered in ads. So I decided to create my own: something minimal, modern, and user-friendly. That small side project became WheelPage.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

WheelPage's answer

WheelPage is built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on the frontend, and uses Koa (Node.js) for the backend. We also use LeaferJS / Canvas for rendering the wheel, and host with Cloudflare for performance.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

WheelPage's answer

WheelPage is still early stage and community-driven, so instead of big enterprise clients, our users are:

  • Teachers who use it in classrooms

  • Streamers who use it for interactive giveaways

  • Friends and families who use it for party games

  • Everyday people who just need a quick decision tool
