Walk the AI helps teachers and trainers measure their command of AI in the classroom โ€” not general AI trivia. In twelve minutes, a criterion-referenced diagnostic places you on five domains (mindset, ethics & data protection, fundamentals, augmented teaching, professional growth), reveals your "AI archetype" out of eight, and maps where to start. The competency framework and its construction method are published, so nothing is arbitrary โ€” this isn't a magazine quiz. Your result is yours: no email wall, no resale, and in the forthcoming team version, leadership only ever sees anonymised aggregates. The diagnostic, archetype and skills map are free; an optional detailed report with a twelve-week plan is a one-time $29, no subscription. Available in English (walktheai.com) and French (iakafokon.fr).

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Walk the AI and Python Examples.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Walk the AI's answer

Teachers and trainers โ€” from primary school to higher and vocational education โ€” who feel AI changing their work and want an honest, private read on where they actually stand, without hype or fear. It's built for the individual educator first; an aggregated, never-nominal team version is on the way.

What makes your product unique?

Walk the AI's answer

Two things. It measures a teacher's command of AI in the classroom โ€” not general AI trivia โ€” against a published, criterion-referenced framework, so the result is earned, not a magazine-quiz label. And there's no email wall: your archetype and score appear instantly, no account needed. The method is open to scrutiny, and your answers stay yours.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Walk the AI's answer

Most AI tools for teachers generate content โ€” lessons, worksheets, quizzes. Walk the AI is complementary: in twelve minutes it tells you honestly where you stand with AI and what to do next. It's not one more generator to add to the pile โ€” it's the map you check before choosing the tools. Free to take, with the scoring method published.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Walk the AI's answer

A React + TypeScript front end (Vite); Supabase for the backend (Postgres, auth, Deno edge functions); Stripe for payments; and the Claude API (Anthropic) to generate the personalised report. Hosted on a European VPS.

What's the story behind your product?

Walk the AI's answer

It began with a question I kept hearing as a trainer: "Am I behind on AI?" Teachers had no honest way to answer it. So I built a diagnostic that treats them as professionals โ€” it measures real classroom judgement, publishes exactly how it scores, and never hides the result behind an email form. The falcon is the thread: the bird said to fly while looking straight at the sun.
