Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing VS Code and VUJIS.

What makes your product unique?

VUJIS's answer:

Most tools stop at shipment records. Vujis goes further with integrated AI features:

All powered by the flexible and transparent Vujis Credit System.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

VUJIS's answer:

Because Vujis doesnโ€™t stop at just showing trade data โ€” it actually helps exporters close deals.

Most competitors dump you with shipment records or generic contact lists. Vujis goes several steps further:

  • Decision Maker Emails & Phone Numbers: Gives direct emails and phone numbers of purchasing managers, not random โ€œinfo@โ€ addresses.
  • Deep Research Contact Finder: Goes beyond whatโ€™s publicly visible to uncover hidden, hard-to-find buyer contacts using AI.
  • AI Email Generator: Instantly generates personalized cold emails proven to get responses.
  • Credits System: Transparent credit-based pricing so you know exactly what youโ€™re using and paying for.
  • Real Results: Actual users showing how Vujis helps them book meetings and close export deals.

In short: Vujis is not just a data provider โ€” itโ€™s a sales engine for exporters.

What's the story behind your product?

VUJIS's answer:

The story of Vujis started with its foundersโ€™ own frustration in international trade.

Before building the platform, they were trading physical commodities โ€” mainly importing and exporting copper wire and other industrial materials.
Like many small exporters, they relied on free โ€œbuyer portalsโ€ and online directories to find leads. It didnโ€™t take long for reality to hit: fake buyers, wasted time, and even outright scams.

That experience made one thing clear โ€” the most reliable buyers are the ones already importing.
So the founders began studying public shipment data to identify real, verified importers and exporters. Over time, they built tools to make that process faster, smarter, and scalable with AI.

What started as a problem-solving project for their own trade business became Vujis โ€” a platform that helps exporters worldwide find verified buyers, analyze opportunities, and reach decision-makers safely and efficiently.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

VUJIS's answer:

Vujis is built using a modern, scalable tech stack designed for speed, security, and global data processing.

The platform combines AI-driven automation, secure cloud infrastructure, and modern web technologies to deliver a fast and reliable experience.
This allows Vujis to process large volumes of trade data, identify real buyers and suppliers, and help exporters take action with accurate, real-time insights โ€” all within a clean, intuitive interface.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

VUJIS's answer:

Some of our biggest customers have signed NDAs and cannot be publicly disclosed.

Vujis is a useful platform for importโ€“export data and company information. The interface is simple to navigate, and the data feels structured and easy to understand. While thereโ€™s room to grow in terms of depth and advanced features, the platform does a good job of providing quick insights for market research and buyerโ€“supplier identification. Overall, a practical tool with solid potential.

The step up from there is an editor with a built-in agent like Cursor, Google Antigravity, Windsurf, or VS Code with a coding extension. These are code editors with an AI agent living inside them, and the difference is the responsible party for getting things from place to place. For IDE-heavy teams, BYOK (bring your own key) can be interesting, no matter whether you live in WebStorm or VS Code. On the JetBrains side, the JetBrains AI plans and Junie BYOK docs allow it, and most VS Code AI extensions offer the same idea: keep the IDE, connect provider keys, pay the provider. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
  • Best Markdown Editors for Developers
Option 1: Raw editing in IDE. You open the .md file in VS Code or whatever you use. Syntax highlighting shows you the structure. Maybe you toggle a preview pane. This works for quick edits but becomes painful for anything involving tables, diagrams, or complex formatting. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
  • Document Generation for Developers: Security, Compliance, and Build-vs-Buy Decisions for the Template-Plus-Data Pipeline
You'll need Python 3.8+ and pip for the quickstart, with venv recommended for isolation. Install the requests library for HTTP calls. VS Code with the Python extension works well as an editor, though PyCharm or Sublime Text work equally well. You'll also need a free Foxit developer account. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
