Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing VS Code and OwlScran.

What makes your product unique?

OwlScran's answer:

OwlScran is the media kit that keeps itself up to date. Instead of rebuilding a PDF or design file every time your numbers change, you connect your accounts once and your stats sync automatically.

  • Live stats, not snapshots - follower count, average views and engagement rate update on their own
  • One link, always current - the media kit you shared last month still shows today's numbers
  • Multi-platform - Instagram, TikTok and YouTube in a single kit
  • No design skills needed - connect, share, done
  • Free to create and share

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

OwlScran's answer:

Most media kit tools give you a template you fill in by hand - so it's out of date the moment you grow, and you redo it before every pitch. Tools like Canva are built for design, not for keeping stats current.

OwlScran does the opposite: your numbers stay live automatically, so you always look current and can pitch in seconds. It's free, it's built specifically for creators pitching brands, and there's nothing to redesign each month.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

OwlScran's answer:

Content creators and influencers on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube - from micro-creators landing their first gifted collaboration to established creators managing multiple brand deals. It's also used by the brand and agency partnership teams who receive those media kits and need to review a creator's stats quickly.

What's the story behind your product?

OwlScran's answer:

OwlScran was built by creators who were tired of rebuilding their media kit every time their stats changed. Co-founder Oli Paterson is a creator with over 3.5 million followers and knows first-hand what brands look for. Co-founder Matt Buckley brings over 15 as a tech entrepeneur. Together they built the tool they wished they'd had earlier: a media kit that stays current on its own, so creators can spend less time on admin and more time getting paid fairly for the audiences they've built. OwlScran Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 15305650).
