Analysis of VMCCerts

Overall verdict

  • VMCCerts appears to be a niche certification/training-related website, but there is limited independent, verifiable information available about its legitimacy, accreditation, or user satisfaction. Without transparent third-party reviews, accreditation details, or a strong public track record, it's difficult to confidently endorse it as a top-tier certification provider. Prospective users should conduct thorough due diligence before committing.

Why this product is good

  • Offers what appears to be specialized certification or training content in its niche
  • May provide a more affordable or accessible alternative to larger certification bodies
  • Could be useful for quick credentialing if industry recognition isn't a strict requirement
  • Website may offer self-paced or flexible learning options

Recommended for

  • Individuals seeking low-cost or introductory certifications without strict accreditation requirements
  • Users who have already vetted the platform through personal networks or industry contacts
  • Those looking for supplementary knowledge rather than formal, widely-recognized credentials
  • People willing to independently verify the certificate's acceptance with relevant employers or institutions before enrolling

  • Client side encryption for OneDrive
With regard to encryption tools, I use AxCrypt, which is cross-platform, but isn't free in that form. It would though encrypt each file in-place, without need for a dedicated folder or vault and encrypted file will sync with OneDrive, via the standard sync client. It would also allow you to share encrypted files with others, without giving them your encryption password. Source: almost 5 years ago
