> thicc โ a fork of micro that's heavy on opinions, not bloat. > What is thicc? File browser. Editor. Terminal. AI tools. One vibe. I don't follow. That seems to be heavy on bloat. Or maybe I'm just happy with vis (https://github.com/martanne/vis). I don't know. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
People should be aware of two related editors: https://anvil-editor.net/ is an editor more directly inspired by and similar to Acme (but makes no attempt to borrow from Vim). https://github.com/martanne/vis is a minimalist editor that stays close to Vim but adds Sam-style regular extensions and multi-cursor editing. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
There's also vis[0] It is an editor that combines best parts from vim and plan9 sam[0] (multiple cursors, structural regular expressions). 0 - https://github.com/martanne/vis. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Another editor that people might be interested in (and I think more people should know about) is https://github.com/martanne/vis. It is, in some ways, the opposite of Ki; instead of straying further from vim, Vis is just Vim + good multiple cursor support + sam-styled structural regexes (I didn't know what those are before using Vis, I consider it a detail of how the... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
If you'd like to try out the sam command language yourself, there's an X11 port that works quite nicely on modern POSIX systems: https://github.com/deadpixi/sam. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
There's a guide on the subreddit wiki on how to format code for display on reddit. When in doubt, you can also use GitHub Gist or Hastebin, though. Source: over 4 years ago
In future, use code formatting or put your code into hastebin.com and then post a link here. It will make it easier to read. Source: over 4 years ago
If you want to post a log, you'll have to generate one first (go to settings > logging and set both logging verbosities to 0-debug and 'log to file' to ON, then do whatever you need to do to create the offending behavior; that should make the log. Then, open the resulting log in a text editor and copy/paste the contents somewhere like hastebin.com and post a link to it here). Source: over 4 years ago
Close RetroArch, then navigate to your 'logs' folder in your RetroArch user directory (if you can't find it, open RetroArch and go to settings > directory and see where your 'logs' directory is located). You should see a text file there. Copy/paste its contents somewhere like hastebin.com and then post a link to it here and I/we can take a look. Source: over 4 years ago
Can you give me the entire command history that got you to where you are now? If you can do that, make sure there is not personal information in the history, especially passwords. Look at the output of history. If it's large, try hastebin.com . Source: over 4 years ago
