ShipNote's answer:
I was shocked there wasn't an easier way to write thank you notes after my wedding, so I procrastinated and built and app to do it! Allows you to ingest data from any gift registry and send a thank you postcard to all of the recipients from the registry at once. Set up a template message to start with, then ShipNote will fill in the names and gifts from the registry and you can later edit the message for each individual. Possible to send dozens of thank you notes in minutes instead of hours. ShipNote prints and mails the cards for you!
ShipNote's answer:
ShipNote starts from your gift registry instead of a blank card. Paste your Amazon, Zola, Babylist, The Knot, Target, or Crate & Barrel purchase list and the AI turns it into a card-ready recipient list โ names, gifts, and any addresses the registry shares. You write one message template, personalize a line per card, and we print, address, stamp, and mail every card the next business day. Nobody else closes the loop from "who gave what" to "card in the mailbox.
ShipNote's answer:
Speed and price for real batches. A 100-card thank-you stack takes 10โ15 hours by hand; with ShipNote it's about an hour, and every card is still individually personalized. $1.99 per card on orders of 10+ โ printing, addressing, and postage all included โ which beats both DIY (cards plus 82ยข stamps) and the other print-and-mail services. Address verification against USPS records before anything mails, so cards actually arrive.
ShipNote's answer:
Newlyweds and new parents staring down a stack of 20โ100 thank-you notes after a wedding or baby shower โ people who genuinely want to thank their guests but stall on the logistics: addresses scattered across registries, hand cramps, stamps, the post-office trip.

A new challenge I was presented with then was where to host the demo video. In the past I'd always reach for the quick and dirty solutions like hosting on Vimeo, YouTube's unlisted videos, or GitHub even. This time I decided it was time for change, I wanted to host my assets on my own infra. To do this I came up with two requirements: 1) The solution needs to be free/dirt cheap 2) The setup can't take more than... - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago

I'm currently trying to popularize Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/ Vimeo is a great alternative to Youtube and really it's only downside is that is has very little users. Because Vimeo is just NOT a bunch of greedy assholes like Youtube, you can actually earn more on vimeo than on youtube in a lot of the cases. Although most people who would migrate to vimeo probably also use adblockers, It does have very few ads at... Source: almost 3 years ago
