Wibigo is an all-in-one platform for small businesses that sell time or goods. Describe your business in one sentence and AI generates a complete, multi-page website with real content in your language โ€” then the operations are already attached to it.

Appointments come with honest service durations and a separate calendar per person, room or resource, with two-way Google Calendar and Outlook sync. The store takes card payments and cash on delivery. Every booking, order and message creates a customer record on its own, so the list fills itself instead of being typed into a spreadsheet. Invoices are branded PDFs. Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp messages arrive in one inbox.

Sites publish on your own domain in up to 12 languages, with DNS, SSL and business email handled automatically. 224 templates across 36 business sectors.

Creating, editing and previewing are free; payment applies when you publish on your own domain, and card payments carry the payment processor's own fee with no commission on top.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Vim and Wibigo.

What makes your product unique?

Wibigo's answer:

Most AI website builders stop at the page. Wibigo generates the site and the operations behind it in the same pass โ€” the booking calendar, the store, the customer list and the invoices are already wired to the site it just wrote, not bolted on later from an app marketplace.

Describe your business in one sentence and you get:

  • A complete multi-page site with real copy in your own language, not lorem ipsum โ€” 224 templates across 36 sectors.
  • A "Book" button that already writes into a real calendar, with honest service durations and a separate calendar per person, room or resource, synced two ways with Google Calendar and Outlook.
  • A store that takes card payments and cash on delivery, with variants and stock.
  • A customer list that fills itself: every booking, order and message creates a record on its own, instead of being typed into a spreadsheet.
  • Instagram, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, email and your own website forms arriving in one inbox.

Sites publish on your own domain in up to 12 languages, with DNS, SSL and business email handled automatically.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Wibigo's answer:

Because the usual alternative is four subscriptions: a builder for the site, a scheduler for appointments, a store plugin, a CRM โ€” each with its own login, its own bill, and its own separate copy of the same customer.

  • One account, one bill. Site, bookings, store, customers, invoices and the message inbox are the same product, so a booking and an order land on the same customer record without an integration in between.
  • Free to build, pay to publish. Creating, editing and previewing cost nothing. Payment applies when you publish on your own domain.
  • No commission stacked on your sales. Card payments carry the payment processor's own fee. Wibigo adds 0% on Builder Scale, and 1โ€“2.5% on the lower plans.
  • 12 languages, panel and published site alike. If your customers do not read English, this is not a plugin โ€” it is how the product ships.
  • The domain is handled for you. Register or connect one and DNS, SSL and business email are set up automatically, which is where most first-time site owners get stuck.
  • 224 templates across 36 sectors, so a barber, a dentist and a car workshop each start from something that already looks like their trade rather than a blank canvas.

What's the story behind your product?

Wibigo's answer:

Wibigo is built by Wibigo Oรœ in Tallinn, Estonia.

It started from an observation that keeps repeating in small businesses: they almost never need a website. They need the phone to stop being the booking system, the notebook to stop being the customer list, and the invoice to stop being a photo in a chat thread.

The site is only the visible part. The real work is what happens after someone lands on it โ€” the appointment, the order, the invoice, the message. Most tools solve exactly one of those and hand the rest back to the owner, who then spends a month wiring four subscriptions together and copying the same customer into all of them.

So Wibigo was built the other way round: generate the site from one sentence, and attach the operations to it in the same breath. The booking calendar, the store, the customer list, the invoices and the message inbox all come out already connected to the site the AI just wrote. The owner's first day is spent taking bookings, not doing integrations.

The multilingual side was there from the start rather than added later. A salon in Tallinn, a workshop in Lisbon and a bakery in Warsaw all have customers who do not read English, so the panel and the published site both ship in 12 languages.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Wibigo's answer:

  • Backend: Python and Flask, SQLAlchemy over PostgreSQL, Celery for background work (publishing, syncing, notifications), plus a few FastAPI microservices.
  • Admin panel and editor: React, with GrapesJS powering the visual page editor.
  • Published sites: Next.js, so a customer's live site is server-rendered and fast rather than a heavy single-page bundle.
  • AI: Google Gemini for site and content generation across all 12 supported languages.
  • Payments: Paddle for Wibigo's own subscriptions; Stripe for the merchant's card payments, so money from a customer's store goes to the merchant, not through us.
  • Calendar sync: Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, two-way.
  • Messaging: the Meta Graph API for Instagram and Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp Business, and Gmail push for email.
  • Infrastructure: Kubernetes, with CloudNativePG for PostgreSQL and automatic DNS, SSL and mailbox provisioning for customer domains.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Wibigo's answer:

Owner-operated small businesses that sell either time or goods โ€” and usually a bit of both.

  • Selling time: hair and beauty salons, barbers, dentists and clinics, physiotherapists and dietitians, tutors and coaches, photographers, car workshops, trades.
  • Selling goods: cafes and bakeries, small retailers, boutiques, florists, local food producers.

Typically one to ten people. No in-house designer, no developer, and no appetite for a website project that takes a month. They are already running the business on a phone, a paper calendar and a spreadsheet, and what they actually want is for the booking, the order and the customer record to happen without them retyping anything.

The 224 templates across 36 sectors exist for exactly this reason: these owners do not want a blank canvas, they want something that already looks like their trade on the first screen.

Geographically the product is built for multilingual markets โ€” Estonia and the wider EU first, and anywhere a business serves customers in more than one language โ€” which is why the panel and the published site both ship in 12 languages rather than English with translations bolted on.

  • regular Vim has lua?!
Lua is quite small, encouraging distros to include it. The ubuntu gvim has, and the gvim AppImage linked from vim.org does. The default Makefile from github is set up to not include it, but you can uncomment one line there to get it. Source: over 3 years ago
  • is there a way to make highlighted text persistent after quit when using something like [match Search /\%'.line('.').'l/] ?
I've not used vimwiki locally (tho I'm old enough to remember the Vim wiki on vim.org :), but I think what you are wanting to do is extend vimwiki's syntax file. I presume it installs one at $VIMRUNTIM/syntax or or ~/.vim/syntax. If this sounds right, then create a ~/.vim/after/syntax/vimwiki.vim file and place your match command in there. Then everytime you open a vimwiki file it should apply your... Source: over 3 years ago
  • vim.org - Is there a reason for this 1800s-esque design?
Vim.org has 242k total visitors, tailwindcss.com has 4.4m, planetscale.com has 412k, jpl.nasa.gov has 2.6m, all built with Tailwind, all several years younger than Vim's website. Unnecessary comparison, unnecessary defence. It's a valuable tool, fine, but a complete disregard for anyone who doesn't love a crappy website and would like to navigate a website like a normal human is not something to be defended. Maybe... • What is YOUR process of writing ?
I write in Vim with some customizations in my vimrc to gear it more towards prose writing than code editing. It's not pretty, but Normal Mode and Ex commands are the most powerful text editing tools out there, so that means I spend less time on making corrections and other edits. Source: over 4 years ago
