2nd ADs have historically used Excel (a spreadsheet) to generate call sheets. That's not a call sheet program, that's just a tool that sorta works. Call Sheet Commander is the first call sheet program designed to optimize the work 2nd AD's need to do to prep, revise, and share call sheets.

Lua is quite small, encouraging distros to include it. The ubuntu gvim has, and the gvim AppImage linked from vim.org does. The default Makefile from github is set up to not include it, but you can uncomment one line there to get it. Source: over 3 years ago
